How many PCs do you have in your household

I am wondering how many computers each member of the CFC community has. I know some people have 1 or 2, while a few have 3.

Please tell us how many computers you have in your house

(Pocket PCs and Palms are considered Computers )

2 PC's now, but getting a Mac soon, does that count?

The other one is a 10 year- old laptop with 75MHz pentium and all.

The newer one is 4 years old with 466MHz Celeron and 16 gigs HD.

Have the desktop. Have my dad's old laptop I putter around on occastionally. Have a laptop and palm from work.

I dunno maybe 10, a lot of 'em are just crap though. My family owns probobly on the order of 30 PCs, but most are at an office.

6 I think. I am using 1; have 2 old ones still lying around. My ex-housemate left 1 behind. My present housemate has 1, plus one of those Mac notebooks he uses for work. Plus another unused Mac.

Adds up to... 7.

Well, counting the palm I have 3. A palm, a Athlon 1GHx and an Athlon XP 2000. Hoping to upgrade the 1GHz machine later this year, but may end up getting a decent surround-sound amplifier instead.

486DX2 laptop (girlfriend used it until recently for schoolwork: Word works good on it)
300 Mhz Pentium (it's in the closet waiting to be thrown away, used it last year to make a startup disk when the major PC broke down and I noticed I didn't have any...)
500 Mhz Celeron (this is the master machine )

Xp 2000+ is main machine.
P4-250 is my old machine.
Celeron 500 is my wife's machine.
Got 4 P1-200s that I do various testing on when I have the chance.
Lot of other spare parts laying around.
1 Dell Axim (Pocket PC) that I don't use and should sell on Ebay....
So, that is kinda 8.

And yes, even Macintrash counts.

I've got one, but I plan on getting a laptop eventually to do my uni work on. My flatmates have 1 each, but they don't count cos I'm moving out soon.

Well I got my PC, my Notebook and my Server. and then there's my girlfriends PC. That makes 4 (sometimes there are more lieing around but 4 is usually the number of operational pc in our household.

then I have another PC used to for file storage and development
and a debian linux web server

All on gigabit LAN except for the laptops and the iMac

3. I have one in my room, theres one in my parents room, and my brother has one in his room, through when he leaves to go back to school that'll go with him. And I have one in the basement. Very very old one down there. Doesn't work(a lot of the microchips are gone ).

2.9 PCs here. Our old Macintosh is nice and user-friendly, boots in 10 seconds, and never crashes...

But it's older than me. And it runs in black and white.

But if you count defunct computers, that rises to 7 computers. My older sister's old 98SE and my oldest sister's 95 are in the bedroom next to me. My oldest sister 98 and my mom's old 95 is in the garage, also.
