How much is a cheap car in your country?

You could pick one up for as cheap as $100 if you know where to look. Granted, it could be a piece of junk, but that's the risk you take when you're too cheap to buy a decent one. :p
I got a 2001 Chevy Mazda 250 pickup truck,i dont need another vehicle but buy beaters for the hell of it because i can.:p

In the US you can buy a Korean car for around $7900 but I hope no one is that desperate for a new car to stop that low. For that money you can buy a much nicer used car.

I do not recommend buying any car for less than 2,000 USD in Brazil. Not that a car of 2,000 USD will be any good, but it should move.

If you buy a beater(a car that cost about 100 US dollars to about 500)you can play with it for your own amusement.Go find a remote area or some adbandoned parking lot and play demolition derby with your friends.

Owning a shi!!y car can be fun.:D

Apparently that's a popular thing to do for fraternity rush. At least 2 or 3 different ones had car bashings this past semester.

Not shinny, but horsehockey cars. I guess i should not be shy of using vulgar words,it can lead to miscommunication.

I haven't paid more than $800 for a car in years. My current car cost me $300 at a university auction. I paid $150 to change the belts and have done nothing to it since. I've had it two years and put 35,000 miles on it.

I guess you can beat that new car smell.

I knew what you meant. Just found it amusing that shinny could fit with what you're saying as well. So many people actually spend so much to get shinny cars :shake:

It is rediculous.Especially the pimp my ride show on MTV.We are talking about taste anyway though. Each its own i guess.;)

Yes, to each their own. I worked with a guy who wanted to sell his '96 Eclipse to get a '97 Eclipse because it had a better spoiler. But eventually he just decided to get nice rims and others stuff for his car. He's happy with it, so that's good. :)

This the US? My brother lives there (CA) and i looked at cars a bit and I could not find any cheap ones at all. How much can you get a working one for?

It may not be real pretty, or have any bells and whistles, but I've seen them pick up reliable compacts for $1,000-$1,300 or so. Obviously it would probably need a couple hundred in minor repairs before being mechanically ready to sell (legitimately...I guess you could screw over the retail buyer, but that's wrong).

Are you an Englishman in Misourri VRWC? That's the cross of St George flag, the English flag? Just curious sorry for thread jacking.
Hmm. I suppose if you want to go back to the whole "Mother Country" thing, I'm sort of an Englishman. Naw, born and bred right here in the good ol' U.S. of A. However, I have a great love and admiration for all things British, and more importantly am currently playing Elizabeth in Igloo's CIV IV OT multiplayer game.

In canada a cheap used car sells for 1000$ can
A cheap new car is roughly 12500$ can

cheap car is a myth in Singapore,

one Nissan Sunny 1.6L auto will cost about 65000SGD, which is about 41139USD. and u only "entitled" to use it for 10 years.

With a few simple tools, you can get a car for absolutely free! :mischief:

My car(or car in 10 months) is my Fathers, who got was forced to drive it instead of the Van when he remarried, his wife bought it off her father. SO I have no idea how much it cost originally but I think she payed $700 for it.
It is a very nice car.
1999 Ford Station Wagon
Sun Roof
Built in cell phone charger and antena amplifier
Lether seats
6 CD changer
the works

the only problem is that it needs a new radiator and in order to make the front slope better ford decided to wedge the radiator under the engine. Which means taht in august when the AC is ona nd it is going up hill it only lasts about 20 minutes.

I just bought an 1989 Dodge Caravan TURBO for $300.00.

It's mainly the donor vehicle for my Turbocharged Dodge project, but it'll blow the doors off a lot of stuff. Mwahaha.
