I always thought you could only build one of these per mission...

David Moyes secretly works for Gadaffi?

A quick search on the Chinese parade in 1999

Their uniforms are nowhere as sexy as it is now

Seriously; at least over here our parade uniforms are at least former battle-dress (and 99% of us don't wear red coats any more); the Chinese are just doing what dictators love doing and making a show at the expense of professionalism. Anyone ever heard the saying that an hour spent drilling is an hour not spent killing?

Violating unit limits has always been a part of warfare. Take this WWI era photo for instance. Can you IMAGINE how hard it must be to sap the sentry of a team with that many Pyros?
Spoiler :

That picture isn't from WWI, it is a Japanese village somewhere where everyone has to wear a gas mask all the time so the volcanic sulfur fumes don't kill them.

I think the main differences between the Chinese women's parade gear and other nations's come from the fact that they are goosestepping. The Skirts look shorter than they really are in that pose because of how their legs are raised. Goosestepping also makes boots preferable to the simpler shoes other armies use. The heels don't seem that high to me, no more than the shoe American women wear in their formal uniforms.

The Lybian women are wearing too much makeup. The blond one is hot (although I usually prefer dark hair), but the others aren't that great. (What is a blond woman doing in the army of an African Nation anyway?)

I've seen 'em before but with Spetsnatz and/or the Russian Paratroopers and still their purpose escaped me.

But if they are indeed for show, I might just go get one. I likes blues.
