I am a Neckbeard Skrublord. I do not want to be a Neckbeard Skrublord, I want be an MLG pro but I can never understand anything because I cannot find any tools for beginning players. I have played this game for many, many years, so I know how to play, I just don't know how to play well. I still only play on Warlord/Noble because I don't know the basics of high level play or a lot of the acronyms used here. I don't understand which leader traits are any good, or ones that combine well together. Can someone help me find someplace where a Neckbeard Skrublord can find out how to be an MLG pro?

Lurking on this forum is pretty good as well. Lots of Noble and sub-Noble players have come here looking to improve; you can see the advice they got, especially in their games.

Don't worry about which leader traits are better than others yet. Get the basics down. Worker first 90% of the time, improve food first, don't go for early religions.
