Not forced tough, HJ was in war with China, so they offered vassalization to him. (actually i don't remember if HJ offered or was forced, will take a look)
However Ilduce is killing Olaf for some reason he really wants South America...
atm my next target is Moscow! my Panzers are stomping Russia! (Red Spy is already using Infantry, but well, he did this jut some turns before i started using Panzers, when i already had Armor (OTL WWI armor)
hell, my army looks invencible, they never die and more and more are coming
Here's it, after a lot of blockading and opportunity fire, i sent 1 infantry in each of these cities, after all, nice undefended enemy cities is quite tasty
Spoiler:
This was the situation after we started our counter-counter-attack. with that army we got back St. Petersburg, that was the point where we started attacking the Finland cities in the north and some south Russian cities, later we also started a advance against Sparthage
Spoiler:
Russian weakness was becoming well-known, unrest in India
Spoiler:
We take St. Petersburg again...
Spoiler:
Some turns before this i lost Helsinki to rebels (they got 2 armor units, idk how, stole them somehow? they hadn't the tech to build). anyway, their armor was useless against the mighty Panzers
Spoiler:
I missed the turn they did this, but Inhotep got Gordium back...
Spoiler:
then Dariush Kabir, this all whiout my help!
Spoiler:
Now we take back the great city, some german musicians even done a music in honour of the city. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzycFeqNxIA
That music became the theme of the conquest of the city, when in a party with the soldiers that conquered the city, Panzer commandant Rommel of the Imperial Panzerkorps was among them, he would become quite famous because of the sucesses of his panzer division.
Spoiler:
In order to show the greatness of the German Empire, a massive battleship is built, we called him the Bismarck, followed by its sister Tirpitz and the Horatio Nelson. Bismarck was one of Germany greatest prime-ministers, one of the few to govern in almost equal power to the king, because of his close friendship with our majesty, he was responsible for the training of the great German army, was a great general and gave ideas about what would come to be the Panzer.
Horatio Nelson was one of the greatest admirals of Germany, being known to sink the entire Ethiopian Royal Fleet and several pirates around the colonies, he took control of the German Royal Navy and made reforms that turned Germany in the greatest naval power in the world, at a time where the navy was greatly neglected.
Spoiler:
This map is almost up-to date, the only thing missing is that Konya was destroyed by a Panzer division that was heading to India.
And i found this :
Spoiler:
It seems someway Trexeric revolted in Africa from somenoe else some time after Sitting Bull and his rebels got his last 2 cities in Scandinavia, and his other city in the middle of Siberia was integrated in Russia
Well, now like we can see, my Austria is the world tech leader, and with a growing army will probably manage to field the biggest army in the world soon, while i plan to take back India and then the Christian holy city. maybe i will change my civ name to Kingdom of God after this
I choose this one as the official theme song of the war : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eo9YvJsLQRY
It tells about the centuries of war. with some German story to watch, like the battles in France against the Spanish state, where the legendary 300 Austrians helped destroy Madrid. (well, what i can do, some events in this game were close to some in real life, location wise, and somewhat near in the time they took)
EDIT : almost forgot : I AM UNSTOPPABLE!!!
ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!
---
well, like you guys can see, Russia was a behemoth until i starting getting like lol and became a monster, if Russia had focused more in tech and scientific wonders, in order to keep up with the tech race, they would probably overrun me with sheer numbers of infantry, however, they threw cossacks at my infantry, and later at my armor!
also Mosher vassalized China after pwning them, this save is from way before i added the Cooper.
I don't think Red Spy has a bad start, if i allowed him to assimilate India (whiout my help Inhotep wouldn't survive) then he would be very powerful with all the developed cities in India, he would get richer and would make a bigger army.
EDIT 2 : OMG, post number 665, oh well, i need 667 fast
do you think my civ is overpowered? i need to remember i rushed Rome with warriors, if i didn't i wouldn't be that strong. plus, if Russia was smart, instead of attacking St. Petersburg, where my armies were, they would first flank and take Yakasomething and the city in Prussia, maybe Helsinki as well, instead of losing a lot of manpower in St Petersburg, and not trying to recover it (they should've kept only machineguns here, but they kept a lot of troops, and i had 5 artillery units shooting at the city, so their recovery was at a very small rate, while all my cities were producing units, Novgorod, as a example, was producing a wonder )
or you meant this in my save? because the AI never seems to manage to break vassalage with the player (unless a revolt allows him to dow the player, like happened with Ethiopia)
Oh well, i'm researching Radio, that will give me the power to build Tigers, the German version of the Heavy Tank (their second UU in LoR, they're the only civ with 2, like i said before)
What doomed you in late Medieval era was probably something to do with the economy.
and then in the Renaissance both Inhotep and Red Spy crushed you at the same time, thanks to you conquering most of Africa in a non-stop, warmongering way. (you was attacked 2 times, in the first you stayed alive with some cities and later got back some from Inhotep, in the other you was vassalized by Red Spy)
I don't think i'm overpowered, just that i managed to become a power later. in early game and early Renaissance i would never manage to fight against Trexeric, Russia or Sparthage, for example, because they had much bigger armies, what i had were wonders, among them...Sankore and other good scientific and commercial wonders, plus trading and being a small country at the time helped me, while others, like late Trexeric, suffered from revolts that made them weaker and weaker, and well, i built the pirate corsair in the late medieval era, allowing me to destroy a lot (16~) Ethiopian and Viking ships, and pillage for a long time northern Europe, giving me a good ammount of gold, this is why Ethiopia stopped being a power, before it, they had a respectable power, were stable and had probably the largest navy in Europe, however smart tatics with the Corsair destroyed them
So yea, at some points i was endagered, weak, and that kind of thing, but having a good production (that was always the biggest advantage of my empire) and being smarter than the AI allowed me to eventually get out of everything as a world power.
I again must remember you guys that More Epic than You starts at Rome, and this is RFC map, Rome has a awesome spot, conquering him was very important.
It looks like I was doing pretty well. Can you post a WB screenshot of my empire?
EDIT - Also, we should start a new thread for this so that Duke can put in the OP the current scenario & such, so I don't have to keep looking for it every time I forget to save.

but since/if all of them are rigged then it would be fair
like if every baseball player used steroids, it'll be fair
but if you want, ill try to regulate them out once i get back at it
