I had this great idea

Everyone could do a playthrough of their own civ, showing how their civ is intended to be played and adding their own... personal flair as they go along! This really has potential!

oh my god, i love how far this thread has gone and it just gets better and better:D

I only gave SK a nice, premade module for me. I wonder if I should make his life harder by giving the dynamic names and stuff :D

What does everyone think about a massive PBEM game on this? (if you can do that with the mod)

I just want to be that flashy erm... New Alexander LH! :D

which one? i was thinking about using RFC Alexander but i probably won't anyway

and i have a better idea! everyone here join in a Multiplayer game playing as their civs :D even if i would be crushed because i don't play Civ usually anymore thanks to crashs in the good mods...

Same here. I dislike war.
I kinda dislike war, my main weakness is I am far to defensive in war, I prefer to have 11 vassals then destroy any nation, that way my empire can be small and economically efficient. I can get my vassals to research techs for me while I research other techs so we can complete the tech tree faster then if I was one massive nation. (unless my vassals tech at 0%, which isn't uncommon).

I also rarely go to war as I use my own casus belli system, which means I can only declare war in the following circumstances:
1. If I am loosing gold when teching at 80%, I have the right to demand gold from any player who is cautious or annoyed at me. Should they refuse, I have the right to declare war on them.
2. If they demand any tech or resource, I have the right to declare war on them, so they can never demand anything from me again.
3. If they declare war on any of my allies (people who are friendly or pleased at me).
4. If they have my state religion in their lands and refuse to convert.
5. They have culture in any of my cities.
6. They have declared war on me in the past.

I am pretty reasonable...

You know, the Alex that's replacing Vanilla Alex ;)
And I hate war. My CB system is:

1: A resource I need
2: Adding to my sphere (Vassals)
3: Humane mission (If they have slavery, Police state etc. just to get them to reason, often goes hand in hand with 2 and only late-game)
4: Crusade (actually, I always stay unreligious. See it as liberation of other religions.
5: Agg or Exp leader: yeah. No good playing Genghis only to be the peacemonger.
6: Wrath: They're just... annoying. This includes cancelling deals, converting, civic switch.

Reasons to declare WAR:

#1 - A Resource I Need
#2 - Furious and on the Same Continent
#3 - Won't Give in to my Demands (Convert, Gold, etc.)
#4 - To Control a Coastal City (If Landlocked)
#5 - To Control a Useful Wonder
#6 - If They Invade a Country That is Friendly w. Me
#7 - If They are in an Ideal Territory
#8 - If They Control My Holy City
#9 - If They Constantly Declare War On Me
#10 - If They Are Just Annoying.

my reasons for war:
#1-I want to
#2-Boredom
#3-I don't want to, but i want a slave state or some war spoils

My Reasons to Declare War

  1. They spread heathen religions
  2. They attack my friends
  3. I need to lose some troops
  4. CULTURE BOMBED!!!
  5. If their name is "Mansa Musa" or "Frederick"

Bah, my casus belli aren't like that :) i just roleplay when something happens, and that kind of thing in such a way so that it can really be considered a realistic casus belli. Like if somenoe demands something, or if they attack my friends (done it once in RoM, trying to play even with the crashes, was Rome and Germany attacked Suleiman, my best ally, after some build-up i attacked, conquered German vassal Arabia, conquered the cities the Ottos had lost while the Ottos gave me offer of vassalization (i was going to give the cities back to them anyway, so they wouldn't need it...) and i gave the cities back while Germany capitulated. before this war Germany and Ottoman Empire were the two greatest millitaries in the world (behind me of course)

but yea, many ppl in multiplayer play just for win, instead of roleplaying :p
i rarely declare wars, but i do like to sometimes keep a big army, other times i like to roleplay a trade coastal empire (i did it once for a short time in a game as Germany, oh think of a great start, i had like 7 coastal cities, 5 had gold resources, some of these having up to 3 gold!!!!)
