I hate sterotypes about college

Well I am a better person. I don't need drugs to have a good time. I am open for suggestions why I should have them.

I don't need skiis to have a good time. I don't think people who ski need skiis to have fun either. It's just an activity they enjoy, and so.. they partake in it.

I'm not trying to imply that I paratake in any narcotics beyond caffeine, but.. from my experience people who do recreational drugs don't need them to have fun. They're their skis.

And while we're on the subject of addictions, what about internet and video gaming addiction, Mr E, eh?

Video games are no fun when you're sober.

I don't know. I don't ever recall playing Civ when drunk*. (The only video game I've ever played, tbh.) But I did have a lot of fun playing it.

*in fact when was the last time I was drunk? I don't recall.

Is it? I shall have to try. But wait. I can't abide hangovers. Can I just get slightly merry instead?

Hangovers can be avoided if you set your mind to it.

Right. Like not drinking so much, right? Or just staying in bed till it passes? Or hair of the dog?

All these are possible. And I have done them.

I really appreciate my moderate lifestyle, though, atm. I can see things, and think comparatively clearly.

How well (rather, how poorly) you adjust to living (replace living with other words as needed) with people you don't know well.

I disagree with this. Why should we have to learn to live with someone we don't know and don't like? We aren't going to do that in the real world (unless you like inviting various strangers from the street into your home).

Staying in bed until it passes is also a good plan  I was referring more to what/how you drink (not necessarily how much) and eat.

But of course simply abstaining from intensive drinking works too. It's simply a tradeoff to make.

You're getting married one day, aren't you?

I haven't had a hangover in a really long time, and that's mostly because I live by myself now and so nobody wakes me up whilst I'm still drunk. So I sleep the whole thing off. It's great. Also I know my limit, and stick under it.... mostly....

I can't imagine going through life never living with other people. Some of the closest friends I've made were just people I ended up sharing a house with, partly out of mutual desperation at avoiding homelessness.

Just making sure you drink plenty of water while you're consuming alcohol will also help mitigate many of the worst parts of the hangover.

Sticking to one sort of drink also helps.

not to a stranger. :p Arranged marriages aren't my thing.

But to tell the truth, it's highly unlikely I'll ever get married. My SO isn't into marriage, and she's the only girl who's ever liked me. It's unlikely I'll ever find another woman crazy enough to like me.

Don't know yet.

Same. And paying THOUSANDS of dollars more that I don't have only to get kicked out when I am finished with school.... no thanks.
