ICNES II: A New Order

To: British Empire
From: Ottoman Empire

Your attempts of gaining spheres of influence in the Middle East is a direct threat to our Empire. Please, we ask you one more time. Stay out of Turkish Business. You are arrogant, because of what? A Colonial Empire? You gained from savage peoples across the globe? The Ottomans, we remind you, are not savages. We fight with guns, remember that.

To the Ottoman Empire
From the Greater Austrian Reich

We stand by our faithful and loyal allies in this as we always have, and always will. The world knows two things. Austria is the most loyal to its friends but it is the most unforgiving to its enemies and those who betray its friends. We shall aid you in your defense if it comes to war.

Oh and ICa I forgot, where are my forts that I ordered built on all my borders, nice big modern ones....

To Austrian Reich
From Ottoman Empire

We are glad our loyal ally will fight by us. The British are unjustly infecting our shpere of influence. Let them continue, and let it be their downfall. And we accept the reformation fo the Axis.

To the Japanese Empire, Ottoman Empire, the Greater Second Reich, and the Kingdom of Sweden
From the Empire of All the Russias

The Crown of Russia readily and eagerly welcomes the re-formation of the St. Petersburg Axis. It is our firm belief that by the Grace of G-d such an alliance is destined for greatness.

To: St. Petersburg Axis Members
From: Ottoman Empire

As a first order, we the Ottomans would like a joint effort in keeping the British out of our afairs. This goes for the Rhinelanders as well.We cannot let them attempt to rule the world. We are more powerful and we have the right to say what we want.

Also a Mutual Protection Pact with the whole of the axis is a must in these tiems of trouble. If one of us is left otu the Evil enemies of ours will take advantage.

From The Japanese Empire
To The Empires of All Russia

The Meiji of Japan withdraws the Treaty of Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalnkiy

@Luckymoose, Ummmm..... Last time I checked Abysinnia was not in the Middle East and does not even border the Ottoman Empire. How is it a threat to you if the British extend their influence there :p ?

To: Empire of Russia, Austrian Reich, Ottoman Empire
From: Empire of Great Britain

We mean no offense towards the Ottoman Empire in anyway, we are merely trying to help modernization of a more unfortunate country, we have no intention of violating their rights as a independent nation as we have stated before. We merely want to guarantee their independence from people who may have eyes on such a nation, we want peace. We compel the Ottomans, we have no intention of gaining a sphere of influence in the Middleeast as we have stated, we are just trying to make a friendly alliance to Abyssania helping them modernize and sign a defensive pact with my nation. We meant no ofense to the Ottomans.

To: Austria Reich
From: Empire of Great Britain

We want to be your allies once more, please sign a mpp as we do not intend to be your enemy, nor the enemy of the ottomans.

From Union of the Rhine
To Japanese Empire

We extend an offer a defensive pact and if you believe that this will not suit your nation we will settle for a four turn NAP.

We now would like ot inform you that your ships are not allowed within 100 miles of our shores. Do not come within this, we feel threatened at this point in time and will take action if we see Armed British ships within our Ocean Borders.

This also goes for all nations not in the St. Petersberg Axis.

lurker's comment: This looks interesting. I shall continue to lurk...but, quite frankly, them Turks is acting too uppity. It's almost like you want to go to war.

Anyhoo, will watch, wait, and screw around. ;)

We must insist that you maintain your signature to the Treaty of Aleksadrovsk-Sakhainkiy. You have agreed to abide by its protocols, which includes more than just a pact of mutual protection. The Crown of Russia also warm-heartedly welcomes the Empire of Japan back into the St. Petersburg Axis.

Please do not become so irrational as the Ottomans have become, we have stated numerous times that we have no intention of coming to harm the Ottomans and they interpret it as we wish to invade them. Please do not let this become between Britain and the other member

To: Ottoman Empire
From: Empire of Great Britain and Ireland

Why are you doing what you are doing. We don't want war with you, we don't want to invade you. Our country wants peace, we respect your wishes, and will not brake them, but we will continue to have relations with Abyssania as we see fit. We wish that you withdraw your statements, may peace reign in this era and not be disturbed by good, evil, or anyother force that wishes otherwise.

From: Ottoman Empire

We will only withdraw our water border act if you allow the Axis to take care of Abyssinia. And you keep your navy out of our waters.

From Union of the Rhine
To Ottoman Empire

We believe allowing the "Axis" to handle this is unfair. We ask that an agreement be reached that Abysinnia can conduct diplomacy for themselves if we truely respect their sovereignty. They can accept alliances and aide from whoever they please.

To the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland
From the Empire of All the Russias

The House of Romanov has no desire for war with you nor any of the Christian nations of the West. However, we insist that it is the right of the Ottomans to maintain their national defense and their Allies to assist them in that.

From Union of the Rhine
To Russia, Ottoman Empire

Abysinnia like we said has the right to conduct their own diplomacy if we are to respect them not as a sphere of influence but as a sovereignty nation. We purpose that all nations may assist with its modernization and compete for markets within the nation. Any alliances they sign or any alliances they reject is up to them since me and Russia both want to perserve their sovereignty as already stated.

We do not know how Abysinnia could be treated as an attack on the national defense of the Ottoman Empire. Great Britain time and time again has said they will respect the Abysinnian sovereignty and will assist in the modernization of the kingdom. A defensive pact is not an aggressive agreement but a way to perserve the nation's sovereignty.

We must first agree if we are to solve this issue that Abysinnia is a sovereignty nation and not a sphere of influence. Is this agreed? If so we must wait for Abysinnia's response on the matter.
