I mainly use Firefox 3.6 (no script and Adblock enabled), but often use IE for when I want to do some ad-hoc web work.

I was quite happy with IE8, so I thought IE9 RC would be OK. But it wasn't and I uninstalled it. Maybe the full release be better. IE8 is faster than IE9 for general surfing needs.

NOTE: As I said Firefox is my main browser, but I avoid beta's and RCs usually these days.

Indifferent, I'm never going to use it. However, I do recall something about Microsoft wanting to offer a beta test to Reddit users so it might turn out to be a decent browser.

Still won't use it.

Honestly I prefer Chrome and Opera over either Firefox or IE these days, but the development cycle for Firefox looks really interesting this year. If they can meet their deadlines than it should put firefox back on top. Until then Chrome and Opera are better options IMO.

I find the 64 bit version quicker than the 32 bit. Some websites however don't like the 64 bit version and sites with acrobat or flash sometimes fail, so do a lot of the adverts. The 32 bit version seems reliable and both are better than 8. Running on W7 x64.

Yet until Chrome makes an option to never remember history, I will not be using it as my daily browser.

Installed the full version today ... and it feels faster and quicker. Makes no sense.

(using the 64-bit version)

There is an incognito mode, y'know. I feel like that compensates for the lack of an easily accessible "clear everything ever" window that Firefox has. Besides, I prefer to keep browsing history in case I ever need to refer back to something, although I use incognito browsing for more sensitive websites.

Clears cookies and the like too though. I only want to not record history, everything else should stay.

personally ill never use IE...anything. ITs got security holes 30 miles wide. And MS knows it.

Translation: Firefox is better for hiding pr0n from your gf.

On topic: I use Firefox 4 (Beta) with AdBlock, FlashBlock, and NoScript. Having a dial-up connection that combo really speeds up my surfing.

Actually, I was describing Google Chrome's incognito browsing.

Firefox is just too slow to boot up and close, especially since incognito browsing doesn't protect against people standing behind you.

Would also like to reaffirm what Strider said.

I have moved back to Firefox (4 RC). IE9 locked up too many times on my favorite site www.civfanatics.com :D
