I really wish that movie was remade. Commies are far, far better enemies than terrorists, and heroic stuff in movies has gotten much better.

It was an early 50s movie about the (real) threats of communist sabotage and attempted infiltration of our nation. Everybody screams about how nuts McCarthy was, but he was indeed onto something, he just went overboard.

Regarding remakes, I am leery of ones from that era remade today. The Manchurian Candidate was horrible. It replaced the real threat posed by Godless commies with business interests instead. We need to remake the Manchurian Candidate the right way and put the PRC back in as the antagonist.

thats right, forgot about that one... at the closing credits it says something like "Dedicated to the brave fighting people of Afghanitasn"
