Military because then when a student is ill-behaved you can punish them.

in september i'm starting training to be a secondary school science teacher. eeeshk. and i wanna teach state ed. not private.

Military, because as others have said I could whup the asses of all the retards who won't listen.

It really depends. I would rather be a middle school teacher in a small rich district (or private school) than a high school teacher in a larger, poorer district.

Ideally, I'd be a high school teacher in a rich district or at a private school.

I would teach high school.

BTW, I am becoming teacher. Go social sciences.

Elementary. Because I could be a pedo then.

As alluded before in this thread, an university professor is a much different job than a teacher. For one thing, professors do research.

I go with professor.

To an extent, everyone does research.

Middle schoolers would be hell to teach.

I actually considering going for an English degree and becoming a high school writing teacher, but they make pathetic money. Maybe I'll go into engineering instead.

HIGH SCHOOL
cause im in high school!

Would you teach middle school, high school, or elementary school or something else in the poll?

I would never teach anything higher then elementary school if i had to be a teacher. The kids in middle school i remember are some of the worst people on the planet.

Middle school: You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I'd say University. Less restrictive, students are adults and therefore more likely to care and there are little to no parental interference. Plus I could get graduate students to do pretty much everything and play video games in my office all the period.

I go with professor.
But that requires a PhD. Simply being a lecturer at a university does not require a PhD, but does grant the benefits of teaching university students.

Also, not all professors do research.
