I still have 2 more years of High School. Next year, AP AB Calc, AP Bio, AP US History, along with the other required classes. Then AP Chem, AP Physics, Calc III (AP maybe?), AP Environmental Science.
In other words, 2 more years of doom.

How can you be in AP AB calculus already? I'm in H Algebra II and will be in H Pre-Cal next year but almost nobody is ahead enough to be in Calc AP. Are you ahead by a year or two or is that the standard where you live?
What??!! As a junior, I have to wait until the 15th of June or something.
How though. Is that normal? Did you skip a year or something? I mean even if I wanted to I couldn't because I'm not that far. What did you take in 8th, 9th, and 10th grades for math.
For us:
8th: basic math or Algebra 1 for advanced students
9th: Algebra 1 or Geometry for Advanced students
10th: Geometry or Algebra II for advanced students
11th: alg II or pre-cal...
12th: not required, up to AP calculus AB or BC.
Well, for us, we have a system of Regular, Accelerated, and Advanced.Dabomb18359 said:How though. Is that normal? Did you skip a year or something? I mean even if I wanted to I couldn't because I'm not that far. What did you take in 8th, 9th, and 10th grades for math.

In middle school, there was this one genius kid that went to the High school to take the math classes. He was 3 years ahead in math, after skipping a grade too!toh6wy said:Yeah, there's even someone in my BC Calc class who's a sophomore. That's kinda crazy IMO, though.
