Imperia Mobiana

I actually changed one of my territories from the eastern colony to the western one a few days ago.

I see you've been reading 1984.

And I wanted to expand in that area. I purposely started away from everyone else near an island region to have a lot of room to build a maritime empire, and now I'm ringed by four nations. :(

I just noticed this might be the first IOT I actually played with you (IOTE doesn't count).

All navy, and all income into economy tech.

"Never fight a land war in Yurashia" is probably going to be violated here.

NPC Numero V:

Shamar
Color: Yellow-Green
Player: NPC
Capital: Shamara
Currency: Chai(if any of you've played Sonic Unleashed...)
Language: Seems to be some variant of Arabic; English is common though due to the Acorn Kingdom's former dominance
Ethnic Breakdown: 97% Mobian, 2.9% Overlander, 0.1% Human
Religion: Most humans lean towards Islam, but Mobians tend to be polytheists(Hey, if human Gods made humans in their image, naturally furry Gods... :mischief:).
Culture: While socially liberal like much of the world, humans and Overlanders enjoy a bit of a status as a Devil race. Religion is of importance to most people, and thus many laws are based in religious text, though tolerance has made it so every person is accountable to their own faith provided it's recognised; if it's not they're accountable to the laws of the state faith.

Government: A Pagan Republic, where the People elect a Legislature, President and religious leaders(the Assembly of Priests). The Parliament and President jointly appoint the Cabinet, while the Assembly appoints the High Priest. The High Priest works with Parliament to craft the Guardian Consulate, which screens candidates for election. The High Priest, beyond that, wields most actual power(though he often devolves it to his President), being the sole appointer of the Armed Forces, Judiciary(which has a role in appointing the Guardian Consulate), and the Advisory Council, which is supposed to remedy differences between the Parliament and Consul, but has instead taken on a role of advising the High Priest.

NPC Numero VI:

Raiju Clan
Color: Darkish Yellow in North Yurashia
Player: NPC
Capital: Lin Batar
Currency: Barter System/Barbarism
Language: Mongolian
Ethnic Breakdown: 99.5% Mobian(plurality lynxes; lynxes enjoy first class status due to being members of the Raiju and not just under its power), 0.5% Overlander
Religion: Paganism, centered on Gods of strength and war for men and fertility for women
Government: A tribal despotism, that's primary focus is on the military and caring for those wounded. In other words, a primitive fascist state.

Culture: A warlike culture, that rarely stays at peace with neighbors for long. The Raiju are ferocious and xenophobic, and this is easily seen within seconds of meeting them. They like to raid trade caravans that don't pay tribute to the Clan, and also are in competition with the Shinobi, Yagyu, Gossamer, and Free People for control of the Dragon Kingdom. Rank is generally determined by strength in combat, and losing a battle is the ultimate humiliation. Indeed, whoever defeats the sitting ruler in combat will gain the throne in their stead. Might makes right. Separate spheres is the guideline for society, with women expected to stay home and raise children while men go into combat or politics. Despite this, however, the Clan is often lead by women, likely due to how it is considered dishonorable for a male to attack a female.

History: As the world imploded during the Cataclysm, Lightning Lynx, an exile, returned to the Dragon Kingdom, and unseated the Bride of Conquering Storm(real name Rei), becoming the Groom of Conquering Storm in the process. While dishonorable, that didn't stop the irrational Lightning, consumed by a desire for vengeance for having his heart trampled on time and time again by the Bride. All lynxes who resisted soon faced the consequences; he rallied many to his side by promising loot and plunder in the Dragon Kingdom down south, that the lynxes would be an independent power now and not some puppet of a regime halfway around the world.

NPC Numero VII:

Free People
Color: Pink
Player: NPC
Capital: Mon Jin
Currency: Yuan
Language: Mandarin
Ethnic Breakdown: 99.7% Mobian(no clear dominating race due to the sheer volumes of people), 0.3% Overlander
Religion: Confucianism and Buddhism, with the Emperor viewed as the earthly manifestation of a higher power; he is thus expected to govern with wisdom and kindness, lest he lose the Mandate of Heaven.
Culture: A peaceful people overall, the Dragon Kingdom has often been torn apart by the forces of the Clans or the Iron Dominion(sub-bosses of the Eggman Empire). Tolerance goes hand in hand with the traditional moral values of society, however, and it is one of the freest nations on Earth... even if that seems like a horrid joke on the often anarchic state of affairs.
Government: An absolute monarchy, Ken Khan, predicted King of the Free People, now rules as Emperor. He seeks to control the Clans, often employing the advice of close friends and other allies to assist in this regard.

History: With the Cataclysm, the Iron Dominion was removed from the picture even moreso then before, Regina Ferrum being believed dead. The Clans continued fighting as usual, though their thinned numbers allowed the center of the Kingdom to fall to Ken's forces. It seemed like a prophecy come true... would it hold?

3 more to go. Likely going to be the Yagyu, Shinobi, and Adabat. I'll assume the Gossamer have become the newest delicacy in the Venom Remnant.

I have played Sonic Unleashed, but I couldn't finish that garbage. My idiot brother bought it.

Sonic 2 FTW!

All into Econ tech. May be edited later.

Just because your favorite franchise has the best game of all time in it doesn't mean you have to bash Sonic so much... :(

Especially in a game that's FOCUSED on Sonic. ;P

Anyway, off-topic.

Thank you. :)

As for orders:

Maxa - I need to know how your armies/navies are distributed.

Celtic - I need to know what you're buying in terms of tech and your army/navy breakdown

CivG - I need your techs and your army/navy breakdown.

Domination - I need, once more, your techs and army/navy breakdown.

Meh, OOT is overhyped. Majora's Mask is better than OOT, and they were even on the same console. Also, I'd say any of the Metriod Prime games, Civ 4, North and South, Team Fortress 2, or Assassin's Creed 2 to be the best games ever.

I have regrettably never played MM.

OoT was freaking awesome. I came to that opinion long before I had friends or the tubes.

Time for some theatrics!

The Domination (Stuka)

Long ago, Overlanders, Humans, and Mobians were pretty much evenly distributed across the Stuka sub-continent. The Mobians and Humans hated the Overlanders. Regardless, the war that broke out was very much three sided and in the end, the Mobians won. One day, the Cataclysm struck and disorder seized most of Stuka. The Mobians that still controlled the northwestern part of Stuka fought amongst themselves for control and then the humans and overlanders took up arms against the government. It wasn't until Emperor Sanzer XX seized control of the government and lead a coalition against the humans and overlanders did the war end.

Emperor Sanzer XX, a mobian, wanting to create a scapegoat, ordered the deportation of thousands of humans and overlanders. The next three emperors escalated this trend until the Night of Pyres where a disturbingly large number of overlanders and humans were simply rounded up and burned.

Emperor Sanzer XXIV came into power recently. Only 5% of the population is human or overlander and 98% of the 5% have been enslaved. He'll be the first emperor to look outward instead of inward. Namely at the human/overlander settlements and cities that have sprung up after great migrations to the southwest end of the island.

And just when I thought I'd have a peaceful game.

You have 10 armies/navies you can put in any of your provinces (or near them, if they happen to float).

So 10 combined? Like 9 Armies and 1 Navy?

If so, 7 Armies, 3 Navies.

Defend my coastal provinces with them until I say otherwise, set the navies outside of the capital.

Forgot my claims. :hammer2:

Claim anywhere to the north.

*sigh*

What you need to do:

Make a faction bio
Claim 10 territories (including your capital)
Create 10 free armies and/or navies
Spend your 10 shiny bits

So there's nothing else. No one gets anything past 10 territories right now.

Well, I guess I'm finished then.

What an unbelievably flawed list. TF2 is nothing special. AC2 is good, but flawed in many ways, and from what little experience I've had with Prime, I didn't like them. Civ 4 is not even the best grand strategy game out there. Its AI is terrible and only functions with insane handicaps. (On diety, they even start with 2 settlers) Can't complain about MM, although it isn't quite as good as OOT. All that said, your list should be immediately overlooked on the grounds that it doesn't include StarCraft.

Sonic was once amongst the greatest game franchises in existence. "Bashing" Sonic is important when the new Sonic games are consistently bad. You have to hold them at a high standard to ever see improvement.
