Virote, a while ago, asked if us Asian nations wouldn't mind colonies in Siberia. The official answer (since Cull has yet to respond) is that we wouldn't mind. We do not consider the people of Siberia as our brethren.

India claiming Khuzestan (Iran), Ahal (Turkmenistan), Surxondaryo (Uzbekistan), Karnataka (India) and Bhutan.

There's a lot of space in Africa and Latin America, but perhaps we should wait a few more days.

The Marian Federation claims the last piece of continental Italy(1); Malta and Sicily will come in the future, just as a notice.

More controversially, the Marian Empire colonises the Suez Canal's dual provinces(Ismailia and Suez). (5)

The Marian Empire understands that this is of course very controversial, but it has a set of proposals and concession that it is making:

1. The Marian Federation will not extend any further east than the Suez Canal, meaning the Middle East will not be interfered with.

2. The Canal will be open to all at the same low rate. During wartime, hostile nations will have a neutral five-mile wide zone in all directions from the Canal. In this zone, shipping will be safe from hostilities. However, this does not extend to shipping outside the immediate Canal region; ships will be confiscated by authorities and returned to the relevant nation once hostilities end.

3. The Arab League is likely the most concerned. They need not fear, however, as we will not extend any further east, and we are not particularly interested in any more Red Sea territory at this moment. Furthermore, we will indirectly lower taxes on Islamic missionary efforts in the Suez territory, Tunisia, and Andalucia, due to historically being Islamic. We may also be able to arrange this in Sicily whenever we acquire it.

4. The Marian Federation hereby offers a non-aggression treaty to the Arab League. This will facilitate good behavior on our part.

5. American Nations: Our good behavior will be guaranteed provided you are the same with the Panama Canal.

6. Asian Nations: We wish to foster good relations with Asia, and Japan will not be heavily affected as it aims to produce most goods locally anyway.

7. European Nations: We wish to improve relations with Europe as a whole, and so no European nations will be affected.

8. The Marian Federation will be willing to discuss the exact above terms, in furtherance of global cooperation.

The Federation has a separate Free Trade Agreement with Byzantium, but we encourage them to join the Free Trade Area as well.

and as a nice little bonus, we have also agreed to adopt our Currency to the Euro.

The "Euro" will be the shared currency of Byzantium and the Federation once we decide upon a location. Once a location for the Euro's HQ is decided, immediate production of the new currency - and exchange of local currency into it - may begin.

As predicted, Germany and Byzantium have joined the European Free Trade Agreement, which is now composed of Germany, France, Byzantium, Italy, and Scotland.

Would Germany be interested in joining the Eurozone, which is currently composed of Byzantium and the Federation? Operating under a single currency would certainly benefit all involved.

We had Vienna in mind, due to Austria's central geographical location, and the fact the lands centered on Vienna once covered much of Europe. Vienna is also a great cultural center.

Of course, this involves actually occupying Vienna, but it appears Germany will be doing that very soon as part of a German unification.

We would like to welcome ATTACK back to the circle of active nations; for a while, it appeared ATTACK would be isolationist.

We would also like to inform ATTACK that they need not fear ANTIEDO, which is a defensive alliance. However, we will not discourage the formation of a pan-American alliance similarly for collective security. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, President Omega

The Marian Federation hopes that the American states and Europe can remain at peace with eachother as they pursue their respective interests. As ANTIEDO fancies itself a benefactor of all Europe, it - via aggressive lobbying by the Marian Federation - will do its best to ensure peace and prosperity for all nations in and out of the continent.

Okay folks, since no one voted on my poll, we're calling it NADTA. I'm quickly going to start the group and invite all nations in the New World (Except for France and Germany) to it. The first matter should be re-issuing the Monroe Doctrine.

While the President had plans to create ANTIEDO central command in time, the creation of NADTA's central command has pushed the issue to the front.

Obtaining the necessary legislation, ANTIEDO central command has been formed, and invitations sent to all ANTIEDO members, detailing its secret location. Observers will not be invited, though this is merely for security reasons. ANTIEDO observers will still be invited to participate in discussions, but some things must remain classified for security purposes.
