I apologize in advance for the rather serious tone of this post.
DISSOLUTION OF THE BYZANTINE REPUBLIC
Carthagistan acknowledges the dissolution of the Byzantine Republic. The Empire of Carthagistan asserts its rights as one of the two successor states of the Byzantine Republic. The former Byzantine Navy has been welcomed to Carthagistan at the port of Tunis and will be incorporated into our own naval forces. Citizens of Byzantium have the right to a Carthagistani citizenship and passport and to immigrate to Carthagistan.
The settlement of Byzantine territory between Carthagistan and Israel must be decided in view of our respective territorial claims in Australia (see below)
ULTIMATUM TO THE ISRAELI REPUBLIC
If Israel continues to assert its claims over South Australia and Victoria the Carthagistani-Israeli Alliance will be rendered null and void.
Carthagistan will surrender all its rights to Byzantine territory if Israel surrender all its claims in Australia.

I claim the rest of the Arabian peninsula (including Kuwait, and some of the island nations).
I also claim the rest of Ethiopia and Eritrea. This is for border aesthetic purposes (Sudan by itself is a pretty ugly border in Africa).
