Off the top of my head, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, the Dakotas, and however far west I can go til I run into someone else's lands. It sounds like a lot, but look at Russia, Isreal, Carrhage, or South Africa.
