No we haven't. It was an alternate proposal suggested by a few politicians in government, but they do not represent the Indian Government.

1. That was several hundred years ago. I'm sure demographics have changed since then.

I think we should stop trying to draw all the borders already, and especially avoid adding huge colonies. I liked the idea of just claiming a few territories a turn, and leaving room to expand later. If we all get bigger at the same rate, then we will all be about hte same size, making the game more fun.

If we use the original plan of making each territory worth 1 point (whatever was used) for the military, then the European nations with Africa will steamroll the ones in America where we're only getting 15 or so states.

We reject the "fair game zones" plan, as it really isn't fair to expanding countries. Instead, the Emperor proposes the idea of "No more peace-time congresses". Nobody, and I mean nobody, has the authority to divide up the world. Especially considering we're taking it slow this time as to allow new players to join at will.

Back in the 18th century there were still a lot of Christians in Turkey.

Which doesn't mean that 95% of modern Turkish Muslims would turn out to be crypto-Christians and suddenly convert because some Byzantine fanboy wants them to.

I'd still say that'd be outrageously high. I don't think you're going to be able to convert Turkey to Christianity, no matter how hard you try.
