Credit goes to Nedim for realizing it was possible; I just tidied it up.
TO: Mayor Francis I of Texarkana
FROM: Fadia bint Faraj al-Hishami, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Perhaps if Texarkana had not so disingenuously shirked its commitment to the international community by unceremoniously abandoning UNVIFOR after Hannegan's death, we would be more inclined to consider its opinion on the matter. As it stands, Texarkana's decision to withdraw from the conflict before completion of the mission to Vietnam, based on the ludicrous rationalization that Platonic Republic, a boisterous but incompetent and
de facto failed state, poses a greater threat to Texark interests than the warmongering government in Tokyo, which has repeatedly flouted international law and exercised absolute contempt for civilian life, betrays the tragic and rapid erosion of Texarkana's political ethics.
TO: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oceania
FROM: Fadia bint Faraj al-Hishami, Minister of Foreign Affairs
The United Arab Republic regards the present friction as equally unfortunate, all the more so that Oceania is apparently oblivious to the political context that has engendered it. While we hold no ill will towards Nauru, it must understand that by willingly and openly condoning trade and defensive relations with the Government of Japan, it brands itself a plausible aide and abettor to a rogue state that has
committed an act of war against the international community, has
repeatedly violated international law,
demonstrates outright contempt for the lives of civilians and prisoners of war; and is
presently subject to an international embargo. Thus the United Arab Republic is merely pursuing a matter of course by extending its current sanctions to Japan's allies to maintain Tokyo's diplomatic and economic isolation.
Assuming Nauru does not become involved in the war, these measures will be lifted upon a peace settlement, although we strongly urge Oceania to reconsider its decision to support the Japanese, as the régime in Tokyo is the complete antithesis to the peace and prosperity you purport to promote.
(Seriously, eduhum, did you not read up on the state of the game before joining?
