I'd like to actually just redo my sign up if that's ok

Last week was extremely hectic and I’d like to just hit reset for it :<
Flag: The flag represents the deities of Isis and Ra, joining together to form the Pharaoh. This concept is one of the most important aspects of the Egyptian religion, and the flag is seen as both a dynastic standard of the Tae-Yeon family, and as a religious symbol. As such, desecration of the flag is a crime that is heavily punished.
History: The modern Kingdom of Egypt has a strange origin to be sure. It was the fall of the Turtle Kingdom of Korea that saw the naval battle group “Snow Tiger” to evacuate what they could. This included their families, precious Korean artwork, and the most valuable asset of all, the legendary Korean pop stars. Setting sail to calmer lands, the naval group found itself soon in Egypt, where a war raged between a French dictator on one side, and a Japanese man claiming to be Pharaoh on the other. The Egyptian people begged the Korean ship to intervene and save the people, and Tae-Yeon, the leader of one of the evacuated K Pop groups, was able to defeat the Japanese man in a card game, after which his mind was lost to the shadows. The grateful people banded together to form a united Kingdom of Egypt, and declaring her victory divinely inspired, crowned Tae-Yeon as Pharaoh.
Government: K-Pop Divine Monarchy
Egypt is an absolute monarchy, ruled by members of the Tae-Yeon dynasty. The dynasty’s origins stretch back over a century to the founding member, Tae-Yeon I. All Pharaohs take the name “Tae-Yeon” as custom. Succession is chosen by the Pharaoh and a close council, and is revealed to the world upon the passing of the current Pharaoh. Often, it is a direct child or grandschild of the recently deceased Pharaoh. The Pharaoh is chosen usually based on the presence of Isis and Ra within their soul, which many believe is sensed by the child displaying great abilities. When enthroned, the Pharaoh has almost no checks on their power, so long as they do not dishonor the gods or their family. There is no recorded incident of a Pharaoh being assassinated, but one Pharaoh, Tae-Yeon IV, was confined to her chambers for her entire reign due to her perceived incompetence. Her sister, the future Tae-Yeon V, ruled in her name as regent.
The Pharaoh is commander in chief of the army, navy, and airforce, as well as the chief executive, legislative, and judicial authority in the Kingdom. The Pharaoh is also the leader of the priesthood, and performs important religious ceremonies as required.
While the Pharaoh is given significant power, it is often delegated. There are numerous professional judges in the courts, local municipal and temple authorities work to address local challenges as needed, and the Pharaoh relies on her council of generals, admirals, and air commanders to device strategies as needed.
The government is fairly omnipresent, with a powerful police force that keeps the populace in check. Things such as free speech, free religion, and free press are not practiced in Egypt. That being said, so long as one does not speak poorly against the Pharaoh, the Gods, or the military, one can live as if they were in any other open society.
Her Majesty, Pharaoh Tae-Yeon IX
Currently, the Tae-Yeon dynasty reigns over Egypt as it has for over 130 years. Recently, Pharoah Tae-Yeon IX ascended to the throne after serving as the leader of the Egyptian admiralty for the past four years. At age twenty-three though, she is not satisfied with the status quo. Her ascendency to the throne was marked with a shake-up of her grandmother’s court.
Like all Pharoahs of the Tae-Yeon dynasty, Tae-Yeon IX claims to be the deities of Ra and Isis: truly a living goddess. Her tendencies are towards authoritarian rule and free markets, believing that capitalism, guided by a strict monarch, is need to ensure stability and prosperity.
Aside from her stately duties, Tae-Yeon greatly enjoys living lavishly, and her court is the center of fashion and the arts. Her love of both traditional K-Pop and the more recent Fusion style music has seen a new cultural renaissance in Taeyeonia, and she has even recorded some of her own songs.
Religion
The religion of Egypt is based on a fusion of traditional Confucian ideologies and that of Egyptian folklore. The origin of the original Tae-Yeon Pharaoh is noted to be that she gained the spirits of both Ra and Isis to guide her in all of her decision making, and she is their living avatar on this world. The religion is mostly about thanking the Pharaoh for Her enlightened rule, thanking her by living life according to a set of rules that is in line with many Confucian ideals such as honor, respect for ancestors, and obedience.
The priesthood is mostly limited to women, though each temple has one man that is used for “cleansing” rituals, and the Great Temple of Ra has over 200 priests, all of them male. A career in the priesthood is sought after by many, as it performs not only ceremonial functions, but it also acts as an arm of local governance. It can be a way to advance in Egyptian society, and for the men especially the perks of the position are incredible.
Military
Egypt has three main branches of the military; the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. These three branches use the most modern equipment available to defend the Pharaoh from any threat she might face.
The largest force, the Army, is needed to help ensure Egypt’s borders are secure. While the Israeli border is mostly peaceful, the areas beyond the Kingdom need patrolling, and the Army is the only force equipped to do so. It primarily uses the Black Lion Tank, and believes in a highly mechanized force that works to quickly overrun the enemy. The Egyptian Air Force is dedicated primarily to achieving air superiority in any conflict, though lacks the ground support other air forces have.
The Navy is a very important force due to the Suez Canal, a major driver of the Egyptian economy and for the world’s trade. The Navy’s primary objective is the control and defense of the Suez, primarily relying on missile boats and submarines, as well as land based missile batteries. The Navy also possesses four aircraft carriers.
The Egyptian military requires those that are not attending university to complete two years of mandatory service in the army, three years in the navy, or five years in the air force. Some, particularly those from lower income families, will try to become lifelong military members, while others from a higher status will look to leave almost immediately.
Economy
The Economy is a free market economy, with international trade being an important cornerstone. The Taeyangsi stock market is one of the world’s most important, and many international banks are looking to expand their operations due to the encouragement of the government. Being a stock trader is a high status position that many aspire to due to the great wealth it provides, and it serves as a major driver of the Egyptian economy.
Outside of stocks, entertainment is a popular export, particularly old style K-pop and the exciting dramas and movies they put out. High tech is a rapidly developing sector, under the encouragement of the Pharaoh herself, and it is rumored that she has purchased stakes in some of the hottest startups in Egypt.
Services make up around 75% of the economy, with industry taking 20% and agriculture taking 5%

Culture and Language
Egyptian culture is very cosmopolitan, with the injection of Korean styles and the revival of ancient Egyptian works creating a culture that was welcoming of the strange and new. In the early Tae-Yeon period, many emulated the Korean styles of Tae-Yeon. However, as time went on, Egyptians started making their own creations again, many inspired by ancient Egyptian works. As Egypt has opened more to the world, Roman, Italian, Belgian and African cultures have all found admirers in Egypt, with art and food from all of those nationalities. There are almost no issues of racism, especially in Taeyangsi.
For language, Arabic is the dominant first language for most born in the country, while Korean can claim around 5% of the population being native speakers. That being said, Korean is seen as a language of culture and sophistication. Almost every child learns the basics of Korean writing, and unless someone is specialized in a very particular field, by college it is almost a guarantee that one speaks Korean at a reasonable level.
Capital: Taeyangsi (literally City of the Sun)
Population: 9.3 million
Taeyangsi, formerly known as Alexandria, is the capital of Egypt, named for Pharaoh Tae-Yeon I after she liberated the city. The city has, over the past century of Tae-Yeon rule, has combined traditional Korean, pre modern Korean, and ancient Egyptian architecture to excellent effect. The more recent buildings combine near modern Korean aesthetics with Egyptian inspirations, such as the above obelisk style tower.
Other buildings take a more direct, ancient Korean style, such as this stylish mansion in the popular Seohyun district of Taeyangsi. Others decide to take a more Egyptian inspiration, such as the office for the Ministry of Public Broadcasting, shown below:
With a population of 9.3 million, Taeyangsi is the cultural, political, and economic center of the nation, with many Egyptians longing to live there. While trendy nightclubs and restaurants dominate the scene, there are of course issues, as there is in any city. However, those are left to the Lord or Lady of the city, as the public transportation routes or dealing with poorer residents and gentrification is not a matter for the Pharaoh.
