Did you knew there were nanoscopic meteorites, smaller than quarks flying around in space?
The Hithchiker's Guide to the Galaxy has this to explain about this phenomena:
"They are called mutator's and does effect our universe pretty often. An example is when this mutator hits a quark, which effects the whole atom, which effects the whole atom, which effects the whole substance (Amino acid), which effects the whole gen, and so on. This leads to that a three leaf club gets an extra club leaf.
This phenomena is the reason why the dinosaures died out and why pecan nut ice cream sells so badly."
The mutator phenomena caused the above post scenario.
