That was timely, Sword. I spent much of the w'end working on the tech tree. I'd say I'm a week or two from a playable version.
Both pyramid building and military rank have been incorporated already(i called them great projects and military training). I probably won't be using the other two as the tree is already quite cramped.
I'm very eager for you to have a look at what I've done so far.
 
I've been doing a lot of work lately on the tech tree and thought it might be time to explain my thinking so far.
Because of the large number of 'events' required for this mod I have decided to unashamedly steal all of the concepts from RFRE, namely using the entire first era's techs as nothing more than timers. Pink, if you're watching, I hope you don't mind. Consider it a form of flattery! ;)
I will expand on this idea over the next few days.
 
Already did but there's only a few I still haven't decided on. BTW was it you that suggested I do a full interface for the aztecs? That page above is the first step.
 
The tech tree looks great! Is it possible to find out what some of the wonders and improvements in there are?
 
Thanks Red. I'll do a full breakdown on improvements and wonders perhaps tmrw. I'm just really busy right now. Some notable inclusions are - Totonac fliers, Iyacata pyramid, Temple of Quetzalcoatl, Octli(pulque) house, House of the Pochteca(merchants), Great market of Tlacopan.

What would you say of these kind of tech boxes?
1st age: wood
2nd age: stone
3rd age: bronze/brass
4th age: iron/steel
(they're mixed here, and all of them have a frame made of red granite :) )

@ aaglo. Simply amazing! Will be used. I think the stone one is best for me.
@ Shiro. Thanks for compiling that. There are a couple I missed. I have a meso swordsman. not sure if it's the same one but I'm using him for the Purempecha. Not sure if it's hist. accurate but in the Aztec series they had bronze weapons. The musketman will be used for the rebellion against the Spanish.

I have a problem. the Spanish just sit there and do nothing! I gave them kick ass units and ships and made them super aggressive and militaristic and expansionist and seafaring. Still they just sit at home and watch the game go by!
How do you make a spaniard take over the One World... if he doesn't want to?
