I've been trying to figure out how to upload a good avatar, still haven't gotten it down. For one, I'm resticted for being a newish member.

However, the best way I can see about going about it is to upload it into MS Paint, and then make sure to resize it so it fills the entire paintfield (or you'll wind up with white bars on the sides). Then save it an upload, it will be automatically resized.
