Hi guys,

i'm playing with Inca (BTS) and Huyana has got Agriculture and Mysticism as init tech. In the few games I played i've gone for Buddism and rush for Oracle. I always make a Worker as first unit.... But I think it's not a good start, because the worker has, if no animals around, nothing to do.... it's a waste of time.
What can I do to take advantage of Inca's init tech? Maybe is it better to build a Quechua and a Settler so i can expand early?

Another things that slow down my empire development is about Wonder costruction. As Industrious i alway try to rush as many Wonder as possible (Oracle, Pyramids ecc..) but sometimes I think I need more settler. How many settler do you build in the first 30 turns? Is a matter of territory or else?

Thanx,

lennox

1. Dont build a worker until after you have researched three of these five techs: bronze working, agriculture, mining, pottery animal husbandry.

Incas can do 2 things:
1. Build 5-6 quechas and go kill your neighbour :)
2. Build stonehenge while u wait for priesthood ;)

THEN you can build settler :) but.. use cottage improvement on all river tiles! For great science..

I posted this Inca thread a while ago:

Check it out you might get some build/research/war ideas.

build some Quechas, steal some workers. You can play a very balanced game with Inca given their ability to build fast wonder, high culture UB, super strong early UU and strong CE.

Have fun!

Thanx to all of you, much appreciated.

@ABigCivFan: i'm reading your posts, thanx
