INES II: Gone is the Old Guard

Morocco, Tunisia, Sudan, ICU were your air forces all swallowed by the Bermuda Triangle by any chance?

Yes, because they spent Billions. You guys are building 10 with probably 1 million apiece, when they realistically should cost around 50 million apiece.

Your saying that 1ASP equals $1,000,000? So the best economy on earth, Venezuela's, is worth only $7,000,000? mmmm, okay.

Also, I said I was surprised my Special Forces succeeded, I was expecting defeat or even a

As is everyone else.

Besides, with my constant around the clock resupply drops, it is realistically possible to sustain a half a million soldiers in the middle of Africa. These men would consume around 15-20 plane loads of food a day, and I had 20-30 cargo planes flying in and out of the area daily.
So many things arise from this.. first off, where are you plains even coming from? All the way from Greece? Thats sort of a long distance.

Second off.. that when my either, superior airforce, takes out your apparently unguarded supply planes, or.. I.. pshh.. I don't know. Put anti-aircraft defenses up?

Morocco, Tunisia, Sudan, ICU were your air forces all swallowed by the Bermuda Triangle by any chance?

I hope not! O.o

Or god knows put up a chain link fence and hired some security guards or something.

Just because you have buyers remorse about something you brought on yourself doesn't mean we'll stop. I mean really what did you expect would happen? Hoping you would force us to accede to all your demands?

The location where my planes came from is on the update. South Africa, I planned this because I knew the area they would fly over would be lightly dotted with AA guns or Air bases.

As for you ASP=Dollar ratio, my answer is no, each economy is different, but I am saying that 10 ICBM's for 1 ASP or even 1 Supercarrier is pretty crazy. In my mind, I am putting at 10 million per ASP, meaning Venezuela would be making 70 million and would be able to build 1 ICBM, according to my earlier post. Deseret would have 30 million, and would not be able to build even 1, unless she got money from another ally. This is what I mean, buying or building nukes should be more difficult than just buying 10 for 1 ASP.

Well your mind is wrong. And possibly deluded. Where in the world do you live where the average GDP of a wealthy country is 70 million dollars? Are you from Sub-Saharan Africa by any chance? Well here in the West we make a good deal of money in case you were wondering. And yes we live on a lot more than a dollar a day.

When you more or less declare war on half the planet.. its not really going to be an easy victory.. I mean.. it may mean loosing some cities.. someone was bound to get nukes.. it just so happens that it was the pissed off megalomaniacs that got it first.

Anyway. I have invested a lot of time into Morocco. And I love it. But, I think starting at a different junction would be interesting. We had the whole epic, Good VS. Evil clash this time. Alliances are fairly set, and I doubt this are really going to change. Any peace achieved is only going to last until we find a more effective way to kill each other..

At the same time, South Africa is where a majority of my airforce was anyway...

A country makes more yes, but remember that they also have budgets, they have government agencies to pay, military branches to pay, paychecks, infrastructure, etc... the 70 million is just what is left.

Uh...no it there's no mechanism in this NES anywhere that indicates that.

Then how is your army still with you? If you are not paying their paychecks, would they have not left long ago? :p

70 million is a very poor military spending budget..

The united states as.. what.. a 600 billion annual budget?

EDIT: Rather, its better to just say the average military, of a power, is 30-60 billion.. the U.S... has problems.

Look you can't just make things up in your mind and assume thats how things work and then get mad because its not how you assumed it was. Most countries don't spend on military and other things merely relaying on surplus.

No, most of that is sent off on upkeeping their military, government, paying the paychecks of government workers.

Realistically, if the US did not have a nuclear arsenal, they would have increased the Defense budget, and thus increase the taxes. There is really no surplus of the US economy, if anything, they are losing trillions.

I belive the discretionary US budget is something like twice that. In my mind, 1 ASP is something roughly equal to 100 billion USD, but of course the conversion isn't perfect, because ASP isn't quite money so much as potential money, if that makes any sense.

See now that makes sense. Which is why I say we should be able to make a lot more ICBM's per ASP. But meh whatever its not a big deal.

We spend 600+ billion on military, which only accounts as 4% of our economy. Our nearest competitor is China, that spends 85 Billion on their military, and it accounts as roughly 2% of their economy.

Yeah, how would one go about increasing the size of their military by 50,000 soldiers with a measly 10 million dollars? I mean really.

Eh, doesn't matter any more.

Imago, great NES. My first. I'm glad you thought I did well. It was a lot of fun, save for the last day.. ah well.

Everyone, it's been great. Count me in when this is revived. My vote is definently for starting at a later date.

And *shameless advertisement* now I have more time to play my NES (hell, Kara, Craydonia could be your next FEAR. It has the **** you attitude!)

I am dissapointed how people have reacted to this.

"Childish" I would say.

Its killing, if not "killed" this NES :(

While FEAR may be brainwashed enough.. I doubt any other nation on earth could actually launch the nukes in a big way. Morroco.. you're people would revolt I imagine, I know mine certainly would.

A peace has been offered. They will withdraw from Morroco and FEAR.. what else are we demanding?

With modern planes it would be very hard to build a facility and maufacture more nukes, without it being spotted, and destroyed before they are completed..

I am so sad this NES is now on HIATUS. As I feel it has entered the most interesting phase yet. I can't see why the NES wouldn't be amazing, continued in a few months time.

I had fantastic fun with this NES, and I'm glad I got the awards I did. It will be exciting one day to actually find out everyone's plans.

IC: Venezuela will push for peace, assuming it is allowed to run rampant in South America
:)

They must pay for their crimes. We will not go back to status quo. A white peace is a worthless peace.

Ok, pay what? Be more specific with your demands.
