Information Drought?

Not as far as I'm concerned, we're not. It's a plausible choice, and I'd be happy with it, but we have only one source on it, and the credibility of that source is not established. We're speculating on the Shoshone, but it can by no means be considered certain yet.

So are we not expecting any Magazine reveals today? It seems awfully drought-y :(

Achack, achack....the thirst! :)

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed about that. Maybe next week...

(I sound like a Cubs fan.)

We had a German video today that revealed eight reformation beliefs. How much information do you need before it qualifies as information?

Official Firaxis confirmation of Venice and the Shoshone

Getting a little greedy here, aren't we? I'm just glad we're about 4-5 weeks away from release, with summer on the way.

Greedy? We already know, just make it official Firaxis! ......,Greedy LoL

Official Firaxis confirmation of Venice and the Shoshone

What difference would that make? If you do that, people will complain that they didn't get any new info because they already knew that. The Reformation beliefs is at least something new that can be discussed. What would a reveal of Venice actually add to end an information drought?

There's the idea that the screenies are a hoax flying aronud but I highly doubt it (and both civs have very interesting unique abilities (Shoshone's Pathfinder's Pick-What-I-Want-From-Ruins) and the Venice's Hybercube ability.

I want the confirmation of Venice and the Shoshone to see the art for the UUs, what the colors look like on the map, and what the capital of the Shoshones is.

Also to see if the leaked Uniques are the finalized versions.

I'm new to the civ franchise, CiV is the only game I've played and I bought it when G&K was already released, so I haven't been waiting and speculating earlier... but I think I can recall somebody writing that usually everything or most things are known before release... so when do you think we'll get to know more about the French UI for example? And if any other civilization have gotten any tweak? Or are there still game mechanics we don't know the exact details for too?

I really really hope they will tell us this week...... (along with confirmation + leader screens of Venice and the Shoshone). I'm personally past the point where withholding information builds up hype. The game is less than a month away from launch, and they already have my money.... Firaxis, I'm ready to know everything about BNW :please: :mischief:

This sums it up quite nicely

Watch Firaxis delay officially revealing Shoshone and Venice until the last week before release

"Aw dang, we forgot to reveal the last two civs. quick throw some hint up on Facebook, the game comes out tomorrow."
