Isabellas Inquisition 75 325 AD
Pre-turn:
Monarchy in 4 turns, Ill think Currency or Code of Laws is the way to go after that.
Ill focus on military production and set up an army which next player could use to crush Huayna once and for all. But, we also need to keep a decent amount of troops in our homeland. Were squeezed between some ugly boys.
We have 3 workers, so Ill try to build one more during my turns.
Madrid is put on avoid growth; although it could support two more pops before happy-limit. I undo that and take off the scientist in favor of working plain hill and plain ivory.
Seville keeps its two scientist and chances are good for GS here (119/200).
Cordoba is a city which I believe we should

a lot so I emphasize growth and commerce there.
1:
Madrid: Sword -> Catapult (3)
Barcelona: Sword -> Catapult (5)
Seville: Axe -> Christian Temple (13). For happiness, possible priest specialist and to get
some two-way culture pressure on the horses by Cordoba.
Cordoba: Put Catapult before the wall, better to whip that one.
Our scout is up by Bismarck, I turn him on auto-explore, because we know nearly our entire continent and I dont really bother to assign him where to go every turn.
Our brave swordsman reaches Cuzco, its lightly defended but have 60 % culture defense so we need cats to take that down before we attack.
2:
Monty demands Iron Working. Hell no! No jaguars for you psycho!
3:
Our swordsman fortifies on Incan naked iron.
4:
Monarchy comes in and I send one worker to connect some wine up by Barcelona.
We revolt to Heredity Rule for happiness and Theocracy for troop experience.
I chose Code of Laws for our next tech. I think we can be able to trade for currency with Alex later.
Madrid: Catapult > Catapult (2)
We're keeping up a quite good-tech pace.
5:
Monty cancels our Open Border agreement. No surprises.
Seville: Christian Temple -> Archer (8)
Cordoba get a good
6:
Madrid: Catapult -> Worker (4)
Barcelona: Catapult -> Catapult (4)
Saladin converts to Confucianism, which is a good thing cause then we can take him out before we declare on the Hinduism clan (Monty, Bismarck)
7:
8:
9:
Alex shows up and demand Monarchy. I give it to him without hesitation. Hes our only potential ally. Wow! Alex, potential, ally
. Something is rotten in the state of
. Spain.
Well, we got +1 in relations with him due to this. Nice! J To kiss his great behind a little more I trade away wheat for clams to him, we have no health problems anyway.
Our treasury chest is almost empty, so I run 0 % research for a turn.
10:
Madrid: Worker -> War Elephant (3)
Barcelona: Catapult -> War Elephant (7)
Both of this can be vetoed, but I these jumbos rocks against Horse Archers, which Alex have due to the fact that hes still in control of the horses down by Cordoba. Temple will finish in Cordoba next turn, so I believe we should get horses at next border pop though.
Speaking of the devil, Alex does complete the Great Lighthouse in Athens.
Wine is now connected and I believe its a fine Rioja .
Out of 4 workers are 2 located up by Barcelona, I believe their next move should be to chop/farm the grassland forest by the river and connect some more wine.
The other worker pair is assigned to Cordoba and the Incan city Cosmic conquered earlier.
We have a decent attack force to invade Huayna with, 3 cats, 4 swords, 1 spear and 1 axe medic is outside or inside Incan borders. Another Catapult is rolling out Barcelona at the moment, that one could be on a go-to-command, sorry about that.
Research wise are we getting CoL in next turn. Weve no viable trades to do, the only one who seam willing to trade with us at all is Alex and its difficult to make trades with him, we dont want to give him to many, or preferably any, military tech. He know currency and calender, techs I think we should be able to trade with him sometime in the future.
For our next research tech I opt for Literature, so we can build the GL in Seville (my choice) or Madrid. After that I believe Feudalism is a good choice, Vassalage, Serfdom and Longbows.
