Hi all, first post here. So I followed the instructions here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2917532

Used Unarchiver to do the unpacking of the .civ5mod files. Stats are MBA 10.7.5 1.8 Ghz i5, 8G RAM, Intel HD4000.

I tried this about 8-10 months ago on my MacBook Pro with no problems but I guess there are now different versions of the game and patches. The VEM mod worked fine, but the Unofficial Patch is saying "Mod is missing required dependencies" See screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/7k7Hw.png

Any help on this?

ah, so it changed? Is there no way to download the old version that worked when I last installed?

I seem to remember stuff like the unit promotions displaying over the icons in world maps and those aren't present now - wasn't that a part of Civ UP?

Any help here? And to clarify, no i do not have G&K...

EDIT: also, I just realized in game play - the VEM isn't even working. There's no doubled hit points or vanguard class, etc... any help with this in general?

The "Unofficial Patch and Vanilla Enhanced" download includes the unofficial patch for vanilla. That's all you need if you do are playing without G&K. :)

I loaded up vanilla, and the mod appears to be working okay there. I am on a PC, however. Have you tried the things on the common checklist?

Ah! I am a fool. I figured out I wasn't loading/starting game through the mods button, but the main menu! Sorry for the confusion!
