I'm with knodel though - in a full diplo game if you agree to a trade you agree to a trade. Gold for units* is fine, as is gifting UUs in my mind.
Not sure of your statement. Since U R a 2nd gen player/leader, U probably were not in on early game discussions/decisions about swaps & such. + Differences between what is
allowed between 3 team civs vs among other leaders' civs.
Altho this is not a
full diplo game; Understand & like(?) your response re: buying units.
What has been proposed is trading a unit for another unit with any difference in production costs paid in gold.*
UU's are not avail for any outside of team anything. WAY too unrealistic. Countries & leaders have bot, sold, rented, equiped, lend/leased
regular units & their equipment thruout history. But also by definition, NOT
unique units. (ergo, they would not be unique)
* assumption is 1 gold = 1 hammer = 1 beaker... correct?

OK. Thx for input ImpK & REM.
What about the rest of ye world leaders? We need your input.

I really do NOT want to use my "Vice Presidential" vote as Admin'r to decide the
proposed trade+difference rule.
