If multiple people want to be the same civ, if they can work it out and write about different things, that would be preferred.
Now that we have enough people, once I my screenshots start working (see below), I will do my first update, which will go from the beginning of the game to Phoenicia's spawn.
Also, this might get off to a slow start because I can't seem to take any screenshots on Civ4 now that I have a new screen. Do any of you know what's wrong, because nobody has responded in Tech Support forum?
Great news! Know that my screenshots work, I have played out the first 4 updates, and the first update is going up as soon as I boot my older brother off of the computer with Internet, and my Babylon story and my Tamil story will also be updated.
When I do that, I will make an official thread, and this will be the development/questions/hangout thread.
Just to let everyone know, this first update will go from the beginning of the game to the Phoenician spawn (turn 68).
I wont be around much over the next 2 weeks so could I join in as Greece along with baseballpie?
If Greece isnt available I dont know nearly enough about the other civs or DoC but I could try the Maya though I imagine it will be quite dull.... Do like writing about inevitable collapses though
Yes, I have a few. I might be a little slow editing, as I have just been slammed with RL stuff, so keep that in mind. The only two eventful things that happened were that Ninua was founded 2N 1E of Babylon and the Great Sphynx was built in Babylon.
Well a Greek update is up, if I do a historical style then baseballpie could do a more comedic update or whatever they feel like, any feedback is really appreciated
Phoenicia update is up, even though you said I didn't actually have to do it this time. I think I'll attempt to do this in narrative style since I would like to improve in that style.
Since everyone that was able to update has updated (ocelotto has told me that RL has made him unable to update), is it okay to move on to the second update a little early?
@Pliped: No apologies needed. I just couldn't update. (It's hard to update on an IPad, especially in Canada) I'll be home most likely by Saturday, so I should be able to update.
