Interesting Screenshots

Yup, you just need to use the current leader for something. If no army can be made, rush something. At this stage I often disband an older army so I can make a better one.

It just depends on how many elites I have left to use that turn and if I have enough units on hand to fill the abandon armies replacement army. I some times rush an aqua or a market in a farm town.

If I expect to get to the next 4 town count right away, I will hold off attacking the stragglers with elites, till I get the towns needed. In that game the 512 town limit was the delimiter for the next army. I may have to raze 4 towns to make another army.

I have even use the leader to make say a cathedral and then switched it to a tank, since you cannot rush troops with an MGL. Just depends on what I need the most at that time.

BTW I did get another triple leader unit. It is just as it popped up and I have not appended a 37 to his name. Three mechs have made leaders as I run out of Tow and cav units that do not already have *. This is due to making only tanks and MA's for a long time now.

Nearly all of them are in armies and never got a promotion.

Huge, archi, 70% water, normal, temperate, 4 billion, roaming barbs.

I've only seen one lux so far (the incense beside the southernmost warrior), but I guess you can't have everything:

P.S. The hill obscured by Memphis' name tag has gold.

You could fit at least three chunks that big in my land and it only has one lux on 250x250 pan map, in that area. Not one type, one period.

The terrain comes from 3D. The border I forget, but look in the Creation forum. Maybe use my userid and borders for recent post. I just started using it in the last few weeks.

I found a screenshot with a character that looked like the Master Chief in it a while ago. I wonder if that's one of the bonus things. Lionhead refused to comment so perhaps it is. That would be pretty funny.

Thanks.

It is the only one that I have tried, where you can always tell where the border is located. Even in jungle. it is plain. It is more intrusive, but I will pay that price. Now, what was needed is a pref toggle for borders, like the grid. Then I could turn them off, till I need to know.

Oh dear... how mighty Rome has fallen. You should really put them out of their misery.

It's a crappy island with nothing there, what do I gain by invading it?

More slaves population = more science farms, just cxc cities and make them single scientist/taxman. Taking Antium would be the easiest target :P

I once started on an island that could support four cities, plus one two-tile island nearby. I beelined to mapmaking so that I could get the GLH and meet the rest of the world. Actually, come to think about it, it would be the best starting loc. ever if it were elimination. But it wasn't.

If I want that, I'll invade Babylon and Persia and not have to build a bunch of Galleons to invade across the sea with.
