Why do you think that score and power influence to election? I see nothing strange in these pics.

It is the ironic nature of the loss. The "loser" won the UN vote.

...all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put victory together again:mischief:

Crazydude must have behaved like bad ass in this game... :mischief: Not a single vote :goodjob:
Why did you go through all the trouble of building the War Council and triggering the vote in the first place? Did you check your relations in F4?
Ok, I can see the need for building the War Council, even if everybody hates you. However, not for the purpose of triggering a vote, but for preventing the AI from triggering a vote... ;)

Are those barbs for me? Thank you!

That huge mass of dark red is me, the Byzantine Republic. After Rome attacked one of my outposts, I invaded its continent with cavs, infantry, and artillery. Rome was the second-biggest world empire, with over 20 riflemen in its capital. HUGE army, but I destroyed them. I took all of Rome, I endured waves of war weariness doing it, and when it was done I left the fascist Romans their island. Since I figured on Domination, I took some of the cities on that island for the peace, rushed Mech Infantry there so no one would see them and go "Oh, free city", and then invaded the Celts.

And now, having easily destroyed the Celts, the Romans -- these stupid, silly bastards -- invade the world-spanning empire with an industrial army when I'm about to finish the Manhattan project. But they're JUSTIFIED. Why? Because their longbowmen...rout tanks. And their longbowmen destroy mech infantry. One longbowman, in one attack, took the city that has just been surprise-invaded. I had to drop off ten or so tanks to retake the island.

(I won Domination victory while my transports were transferring tanks from the occupied Celt zone to the Roman island, though -- a bunch of rushed temples caused borders all over to pop, and I got my 66. I still wiped out the Romans, though. This world is only big enough for one Roman empire, and that's the EASTERN one. )

I don't get what's interesting about that.

I thought this was interesting just because I've never seen this many fish in a row.

That looks fishy.

Interesting, the map generator can certainly produce some interesting results!

What about Carthage and Germany?

Astronomy and Music Theory at 110 BC, I'd say.

No, Overseer, it's not the tech pace. It's who learned those techs instead of one of the other tribes.

...
OH! Because the Carthaginians were excellent sailors (although I thought the Arabs pioneered Astronomy proper? Then again, they're not in that game) and the Germans claim some of the greatest classical musicians (including Mr Bach). It had me stumped, too - I figured I was missing something obvious, but couldn't figure out what it was.

I wasn't thinking of that ChaosArbiter, but I do feel that interesting. All of the tribes there have the scientific trait except for Carthage. But, Carthage has managed to outresearch everyone else. Germany also isn't usually a tribe that outresearchs other scientific tribes.

how do you guys get your land to look like farmland?
