Our engineers currently believe that the anonmalies may be caused by broken undersea cables somehow connected to the Australian Intranet, so we request that Australian engineers supervise your teams in case we find something that could help solve this problem.

Yesterday President Hartell held a press conference to defend her policies which have come under criticism by opposition parties and the public due to allegations of corruption and abuse. "It is unfair to criticize the whole Federalist party for the actions of a few corrupt officials." Referring to the use of undocumented workers from Southern Africa in the construction of new infrastructure the President announced that those workers that were employed illegally would be paid any back wages and would be allowed to work and travel throughout East Africa. "We will not allow our economy to be built on the back of exploited labor. Those companies that have used this illegal practice will be fined and barred from future government contracts for a period of five years."

The President highlighted a growing economy and military successes in liberating warlord controlled territory. "Look, we have taken a stagnant economy and put it into drive. We have launched a massive program to uplift millions of our fellow citizens and have liberated hundreds of thousands more from the rule of warlords. If the opposition parties have a better record then let them show it."
