Spoiler :
It was during this new-found peace that Communist Siam unleashed a new wave of denunciations of the United States.
And much to the dismay of the United States, postwar relations with the Aztecs were not good, and they followed Siam in denouncing the US.
During their war with Russia, the Ottomans maintained a huge military presence on the northern continent, which the American forces at Haerbin would need to be prepared to face should war break out.
And American intelligence also watched Ottoman naval movement around Marsin very closely. It was not uncommon for American intelligence to see Ottoman ships off the coast, and an aircraft carrier, which the US suspected was armed with nuclear weapons.
During this time, American citizens in areas close to the Ottomans were always in danger of a sudden nuclear halocaust. And although citizens understood the possibility of nuclear war, the US government would not tell citizens about the Ottoman navy being so close, to avoid mass panic.
And the war between the Ottomans and Russia continued. The US had tried to mediate between the two nations to secure a peace treaty, but it seemed neither side wished to negotiate. But the Ottoman army finally launched their major offensive into Russian lands, and began the siege of St. Petersburg.
Eventually, St. Petersburg fell to the Ottoman army.
After losing some territory to the Ottomans, the Russian government seemed to be more willing to negotiate. The US tried once again to secure a peace agreement, but the Ottomans still would not cooperate.
The Ottomans then shocked the world by performing a blitzkrieg and quickly occupying the Russian capital, Moscow.
The United States was not sure whether to intervene or not.If the United States entered the war, the US navy would have to quickly neutralize any threat of nuclear attack from the sea around Marsin. But even if they succeeded, there was still a threat that Ottoman nuclear weapons could be launched from other sites.
