Now that the GOTM13 results have been published and this has completed Matrix's wrap-up of the his admin tasks for GOTM.

We would like to begin introducing the new volunteers who will fill a number of more specialized roles to help expand and improve the future of the GOTM game events. A key element of this process is defining these new roles to better serve the player community while dividing up the tasks into manageable segments. This "division of power" will help each volunteer serve you better and complete key tasks in a more timely manner than if they were still being performed by just one person.

I will introduce each new staff person in their new role and let them describe some of their key tasks to you in their own words. Each staff person will then move forward with their task assignments directly with you via this forum and all the other communication tools we have at our disposal.

Please offer each of the volunteers your maximum support and cooperation and treat their inputs and requests as you would expect to be treated if you were tapped to fill a similar management role in the coming months. Each volunteer has my full support and the support of the other staff members and the site administration in fulfilling their new roles.

Please join me in welcoming:

Creepster as our new "GOTM Submissions Coordinator".

I echo Aeson sentiments I have total admiration for all the volunteers who organisation and run these tournaments. Without their dedication we would not have the opportunity to participate in such tournaments and see how other players have tackled the games, so we can then take on board their ideas and hopefully improve are own playing skills.

Thank you for the introduction and welcome. :)

One of the items I will be implementing is a list of all submissions received. The list is already up on another sticky post. Please check to make sure that I did receive your game. I will try to update the list every couple of days. If I misspelled your name please let me know by PM and I will correct it.

Thanks again,

Creepster

Well said! Since I couldn't say any better, I hope you say that for both of us.:)
