Am I the only one who tries/d to avoid playing the same nation/area more than once? I have begun to repeat myself a little but mostly with countries from games that died quickly.

...that being said, I hate autocratic countries.

Welcome, Mathalamus. I want to see The Great and Powerful Mathalamus in action. :groucho:

Welcome back, Mathalamus. :)

Math being back makes me happy. Haven't seen you around, and hope all's been well.

On another note, I finally got my division systeem to work with provinces. And by provinces, I mean the Iron and Blood 3 map, but I'm assuming it can work with any small-province number game that HAS provincial names. Getting it to scale up....eh, still a hassle. It doesn't like the Paradox maps unless you limit the number of attacking divisions per province to 1 (and defending division to 1). Still, whole system requires cost balancing and more tracking and it is all just a hassle.

I feel we need a moment with Christos where Math goes "Christos, I am your Father" and then Christos goes "Nooooooooooo"

And then Joan gets frozen in Carbonite and Me, TK and AA have to go and save him but then it turns out that I'm Christos' sister.
Then we get to rescue Joan from the vile clutches of Tani the Furr in his secret lair filled with bounty hunters and furries. Cristos uses his magic force powers to persuade Tani to let Red Spy and Mosher get employed there. Mosher works as a translator and Red Spy as like a waiter. Then I dress up as a bounty hunter rescue Joan from the Carbonite and there's an awkward moment especially since all this time TK's been hitting on me and I'm slightly in love with Christos. AA roars a bit.
Then something else happens and we end up suspended above the great pit of Lighthearter who wants to digest us slowly but then Ailed get put in instead of us in an intense battle where Christos and Joan have to fight there way of a small boat thing after Red Spy throws a laser sword over the gap between the two boats. Then I strangle Tani with the chain he attached me to him with (Tani fetish). Then we fly off and meet Sonereal who's organizing a massive big attack fleet or something because Math under the guidance of Dommy is trying to build a giant death ray.
We jump in for the attack but there is a shield so Christos, Joan, me and AA go down to the surface of a moon with ponies and try to disable it but Math catches Christos and tries to convert him to the ways of Dommy and the rest of us are kidnapped by ponies who seem to worship Mosher as some sort of god and then we nearly get cooked but it all works out in the end and there's an epic pony battle with Math's army and there's a battle in space as well.
TK and some new strange alien are flying in Joan's ship and Mechaeric is leading the giant attack fleet Sonereal assembled. But then the giant death ray fires at a ship and Mech notices that the whole thing was a ploy of some sort, a trap one might say.
Then they blow it up and Christos converts Math from the dark ways of powergaming and they work together to throw Dommy out of the game and then they all live happily ever after, apart from Math who died in the awesomesplosion and Tani who was strangled, and Dommy who fell to his death, and Ailed who gets nommed by LH and AA because Egypt.

Most awesome Return of the Jedi fanfic ever!

As the year 1900 dawns, Europe has enjoyed almost a century of peace after Napoleon's final defeat at Waterloo. The carefully crafted balance of power, carefully crafted at the Congress of Vienna, is falling apart. The Prussian king has unified all of Germany except Austria, and in the process has become an unrivalled land power. The United Kingdom, ever vulnerable to maritime invasion, will have her policy of "splendid isolation" put to the test by the ever-stregthening German navy. Once-mighty France, fearing a repeat of 1871, has turned to the giant in the east, Russia. The ancient Habsburg dynasty is quickly declining, their polyglot empire badly frayed after a century of nationalism. To their west, a newly-united Italian state seeks to acquire the Italian lands of South Tyrol and Istria. Further south, nationalism has been even less kind to the Ottoman Sultans in Constantinople, who face a host of new enemies, all hungering for more of their European lans, to their north. As great powers rival each other for military and diplomatic supremacy, they teeter on the brink of another war...

Nation Types & Playable Positions:
There are three types of nations: Great Powers (eight or more provinces), Secondary Powers (three to seven provinces), and minor nations (one or two provinces). Great powers compete with each other for influence over minor nations.

Within great powers and secondary powers, there exist political parties. There will usually be three or four to a country (determined by the GM), and they are player-controlled. The country is ran solely by the dominant party. The dominant party is determined, depending on the government type, by elections, royal prerogative, or a mix of the two. Although the dominant party has nominal control over the country, other parties should still be active in garnering support for their cause and "advising" the dominant party.

The other possible role to be played is that of an independence movement. Although they will have much less resources available, a player controlling an independence movement does not have to worry about internal politics, and controls their movement as long as they want.

Aside from successful player-run independence movements, minor nations are unplayable.

Interesting... very much. Want to see more.

I thought you wanted to be Lando?

Ah yes. I've always wanted to GM a game where there are multiple players per country rather than one... here's hoping you can find a model that works successfully.
