Negotiations with the Golden Horde are Continuing
Relations have been tense between the Golden Horde and Russia. However, our young king of 21 years of age, is negotiating a formal peace treaty and a non-aggression pact with the Golden Horde's Khan. He has also requested non-aggression pacts with two other neighbouring countries. Some are worried that he will back down on his promise to defend Russia, but he has denied that he has back flipped. In a formal press conference today, he stated that "Russia's sovereignty will be recognized and defended. However, this bloodshed must stop. This diplomatic agreement will ensure the safety of all Russians, to the farmers in the fields to the soldiers on the front line."

One question. Do you want to die? You have 30 provinces and the Ottomans have 38. And we have Military tradition trait. And we have allies in the Middle East. I think that many Muslim Nations will want to retake the Holy City. And we shall give them our armies.

Breaking News! The Golden Horde Refuses Peace!
The horse of our chief diplomat to the Golden Horde returned just hours ago. The diplomat did not return. Inside a package tied to the horse, was the head of the diplomat and a note. It read in badly written Russian:

This can only be assumed as an act of war. Tsar Nicholas LXIV has declared a national state of emergency. In another press conference he stated:
I am disgusted at the Khan's refusal to our proposal. These bloodthirsty barbarians will not stop until every European city is burnt to the ground. We call upon all peace loving nations, help us stop these madmen before it is too late!
The Russian military has been mobilised, it is official: To save our country, we must go to war.

Because 8 more provinces makes THAT much of a difference. We also have that trait. According to your Embassy you have no allies to speak of. They might.
But you're forgetting that you've been threatening a lot of nations (again). I wouldn't be surprised if Venice tries to help. I'm allied with the Balkan states. The Roman Empire may be small but they add into the help. You're surrounded.
Also, the Muslims have rather zealot-like governments. What makes you think they'd want to help a second Byzantine Empire, which is basically what you are what with the Greek-lead Orthodox government? They hate you as much as they hate us.

Mansa Mahmud III had just gotten back from the meeting with the outsiders. He felt that the meeting had gone well, as the albinos had agreed to buy copper and gold from the empire. In return they had offered to provide the empire with weapons made of a strong, yet light material. They called it steel. These weapons would be of great benefit to the emperors’ continued expansion of the empire into new and dangerous lands.
They had also asked about the possibility of buying any prisoners that the empire held from its many small border conflicts with the tribes of the interior. As these prisoners were still of use to the emperor, he did not agree to sell them, but the offer was quite intriguing. No, these prisoners were capable of good hard labor, and were also a lucrative source of ransom payments from their home tribes.
The frequency with which the albinos were appearing on the coast seemed to be increasing. Only ten to twenty years ago, it was an event that almost never happened. These days it seemed that every couple of months a ship would appear in search of fresh water and other food for re-supply. It was only recently that ships started arriving expressly for the purposes of trading with the empire.
Among other things, the empire had copper, gold and salt in large quantities that they could trade with these outsiders. The empire also had extensive networks with the interior. Tribes from dark and unexplored regions of the continent frequently brought such things as ivory and rhinoceros horns into the empire in exchange for salt.
The Emperor was pleased that the albino outsiders were interested not only in the gold and copper that he had to offer, but also these more exotic treasures. He sensed that he could increase the wealth and standing of the empire by selling these things to the foreigners.

I would expect that we can attack the turn we get them. A turn is after all 5 years or so.
And if my memory is correct CP cannot be invested over several turns, which would imply no banking, yes?
last game armies were not available same turn, which is why I ask.
