EDIT/Semi Off-Topic: They really lost at Stalingrad. With all of those deaths, plus the route to the Cacucas Oil being shut off, Germany could never recover. Had Stalingrad fell, but they still lost Moscow, they could always attack again in 1943.

France had suffered much during the cataclysmic events of the mid-2oth Century. With the collapse of her government during the flooding, many groups attempted to gain control for fascism, democracy and even monarchies. Eventually a small group managed to establish the 5th Republic from the ashes, with a promise to never be subjugated again.

Hi, So I'm just going to jump in and start a new nation.
Claims in Dark Ochre, SoI in the lighter colour (But as allays open to negotiation).
Ancient History: Republican Spain also known as the Second Republic of Spain was a Socialist government in power in Spain during the inter war period, it was eventually defeated by Nationalist Spain during the Spanish civil war.
Recent History:The Provisional Spanish Government had been doing all it could to hold the fractured nation together but still that was not near enough. Although Spain's landmass hadn't been as greatly effected as that of other nations it still had suffered and from the Ashes had grown the Provisional Government. The Regime was Harsh and Militaristic but was the best that the country could have to offer at the time. They organised the rebuilding of coastal areas and the transport of refugees, the homeless and the orphaned to areas were they could be looked after. But Spain was still crippled and struggled to look after all the displaced people, instead sliding them into the background of refugee camps and slums. It's easy to see why these people were so eager to embrace the Ideas of Socialism. They lived in the mud, dying and diseased while the government struggled to provide even the most basic sanitation for them. Soon there was a big following, the Idea of a new Spain; a worker's paradise, was too much to resist.
Soon rebel factions began to emerge, unaware of each other until a man called Thomas Farquharson came along, he had been a socialist visionary living in Scotland and had moved to Spain when he heard of the rebels. He single handedly strove to unite the factions into one force. He succeeded and the resultant movement became known as the National Liberation Front. This united revolutionary force soon managed to take Madrid and from there they formed a new Government; based on that which had been deposed by the nationalists so long ago...

New Republican Spain Agrees to sign said agreement with The French Fifth Republic. Said Agreement will hopefully lay down future borders between our two great nations.
Spanish Ambassadors have Publicly proposed the following border:
It is hoped that this will be Mutually agreeable for our Pyrenees Border.

New Republican Spain is glad that we have found a mutually acceptable agreement. We would also agree that it would be a Prudent course of action to pursue better diplomatic relations possibly culminating to an Alliance between us and The French Fifth Republic.
It is good that we can find common ground even in these dire times of instability and economic collapse.
