R.U.A.C calls for Arabia and Macedonia to lay down arms and call a ceasefire. Look, the main reason for this war has finished. The Nazis no longer exist, so any UN proclamations involving them have become null and void. The UN is ignored as well, so there isn't really any point doing anything for them. So there is no reason for this bloodshed to continue. R.U.A.C promises to stop attacking Arabia, Macedonia and Scandinavia IF they agree to an immediate ceasefire and to start peace talks immediately. World Wars are not fun, so lets end this one once and for all.

With minimal war planning by the Axis forces, SUDS takes 1 province and RUAC 2. Imperial Germany also has lacking war planning and loses 4 provinces to the Scandinavian military in a brutal offensive.

There was very little claiming last turn, but I have excellent news for those who pay attention; the amount of XP per turn has upped to TEN (10).
Nazi Germany - 5 into defense

The S.U.D.S once again offers Arabia and Macedonia a chance for peace. Leave France and hand back the land you stole to the S.U.D.S. We will need to talk about how you will pay for war damages, especilly by aiding a force that used chemical weopons against the French. Set now for peace, accept your crimes and then be placed on the road of peace.
As to the Nazis... if they are still around they are would have to pay heavy damages for any damage they did against us if they accept any peace deal! The handover of resources (XP) and the rest of Frenc SOI would be a start.

The pratice of declaring martial law during war is a holdover practice from the Founding Wars. There was a few small peace periods, required because of the devastation on our economies. Small, for one: they were really just a temporary cease-fire between the combatants, and 2: they only occurred to rebuild industries needed for war. Because war with enemy city states was the norm, and we could never be certain of the trustworthyness of our allied states, nor could they trust us. This meant the public was in constant fear, and always wanted a heavy military presence everywhere in the streets. We wouldn't blame you for thinking we were under occupation. We spent most the wars literally with only martial law. We didnt until recently have civilian law. The people demanded that wartime require martial law after. The most amazing thing is we can even think of diplomatic relations without paranioa taking over.
