i played two times with greece and went straight to philosophy(for free advance and great library) and aristotle came each of these games and i hurried great library and became tech leader early.(athens became culturally leader city)
i don't know if it is possible but maybe game has some secret things in it.perhaps greece has better chance to create SGL if they learn philosophy(first homeland of philosophy in real world) before other civs.what do you think,it would be interesting?

Greeks are Scientific and hence have a larger percentage of getting a leader than non sci civs.

Do not count on getting an SGL for it in every game. I think it is 3% for non and 5% for sci civs.

yes i know scientifics have more chance but i was so lucky in those games, then i began to think if iam missing some properties of science in the game. :)

And you will get SGL only if you are leading in technology (at east one). I find myself lucky even if I get just one SGL in the game. I don't think that Greece has more chance at getting SGL, when they discover philosophy first, then other scientific civs.

Well if you get Philosophy 1st, then you can fairly easily get 2 techs first. Philosophy and the free one that comes with it (which will usually be the first) Meaning the chances of getting a SGL are ~10% in that situation
