I've just convinced myself to that 9/11 is a conspiracy

I just attended a book reading by Michael Shermer last night for his new book. He mentioned the 9/11 truthers. He said:

These people simultaneously believe the Bush administration to be completely incompetent and capable of the most intricate conspiracy.

Wild laughter ensued.

The election was Nov 2000. Bush took office in Jan 2001. That means that they put in this plan to do a controlled demolition of the towers within...8 months?

All logistics, all planning and prep, secretly putting in charged explosives, causing hundreds of folks to disappear...in 8 months.

Is it odd to say that all of the comments can be indeed plausible? I guess it is whatever you want to believe in and stick to it by arguing to other people that it is the right theory of how and what cause the incident to happen.
