JalNES I: Quick and Easy

I can't speak for anybody else, but i don't see a way for them to recover without external influences distracting their opponents.

They can be arranged for, of course, but i think it would take a very skilled player, possibly even a Das, up against new or complacent players, for the Sea Peoples to recover.

EDIT: Maybe this would be better in the "While We Wait" thread.

@ JD: Yes, but I did not write orders to annililate him. I fully expect NK to survive this turn. And keep in mind, that at the end of the last turn I did make a peace offer. ;)

So you're saying I suck?

Hmmm....10098 posts vs 109 posts. Must be a newbie error.

I think he has the idea that das is the best player and I am not saying he is wrong or right but how would he know this?

North King, I think you are a skilled player :).

I'm not saying North King sucks- to do so would be stupid, as i don't know the standard for one, and for two i would have probably ended up the same in his circumstances.

I've heard quite a bit about Das and that he has a good reputation, so i just presumed.

And even newbies need to at least try to contribute to the level of experienced people- that's how we learn.

You know, this doesn't matter as all as Rome did invade Sparta ;) I mean, it's OBVIOUS Rome was secretly in alliance with the League of the Sea Peoples even while her armies are marching elsewhere :mischief:

Damn, I wish I knew if Alex was telling the truth.

I wish I knew if you were telling the truth too ;)

Actually no, North King, i didn't realise that was a joke. I'm a little gullible, and thought you were being at least semi-serious.

Everything I've said about the Sea People's war is true. I think all the rest are lies.

Oh don't worry, I'm just perpetually under-confident and pessimistic.

Oops- I thought the Sea Peoples were a diffrent colour, and were holed up in one of those cities somewhere.

As it is, the Sea Peoples have no chance of keeping to their name, but they are still strong.

I would advise North King to make peace with Egypt, and attack Byzantium&Sparta, then go the way of the OTL Early Byzantine Empire (back when it was still strong). Of course, i'm still a newbie, but i'm allowed to try, aren't I?

That would make sense--but only out of character. In character, that makes no sense at all.

Oh, never forget that I still have Sumeria attacking me.

I personally have all faith in NK giving them hell for one or two turns...

I'm just waiting to see how well Alex can muster his alliance ;].

Against Eirehann and Britan's forces I hope ;) I see you're still using those ugly smiles :p

Oh yeah- forgot about that.

Firstly, stories, when well-done, seem to be a good way out of just about anything out of character. Breakdown in relations, diplomatic incident caused by third part, it's easy!

Second, yes, i forgot. But as the underdog, you have an advantage. Tribal leaders should be smart enough to realise that when either side triumphs, they are in trouble.

So, agree to give all lands taken off Sumeria to them, stay defensive, and expand slice by slice into Greece.

EDIT: jalapeno_dude, if you have any idea, can you tell us how long until the update? If you can't, maybe you can give me a hint on how Sweeden did against Prussia?

No.

You're not dead yet--technically.

:mischief:

Alright- for those who want to know, there are two possibilities:

1: I arranged for a backup settlement in Scandinavia, and Sweeden survives there.

2: jalapeno_dude says that this isn't the kind of information in my intrests to reveal, so i won't.

EDIT: Jalapeno_dude, can you P.M me on why? Those affected would find out quickly anyway.
