JalNES I: Quick and Easy

OOC: It's me. You shouldn't have cut off that bronze, eh?
He's not lying. The 5 galleys weren't sunk by pirates--that was a cover for their raid to the northwest.

...

:p

BTW, you people should post some stories. There was only one last turn. :(

Eh. I'll have a story about the slow, tortous death of some pirates.....

It doesn't have to be NOW...

Just soon. :p

if I force a story it always sucks

Story incoming... my stories were low because it was a rough time for the people but now that the Galloglach are dead I've got a second wind :p

Speaking of Galloglach, in retrospect, comparing them to Janissaries in my intial UU creation orders was really quite stupid. :hammer2:

And before people start pointing fingers about the pirates, its not bloody me. If I'd wanted to pick a fight I would've kept that bit of Scotland I conquered without intending to. And I just finished off the Galloglach and am quite happy with our defensive alliance.

So there. Nice 8 EP, btw Dark. After you recover from the raids thats tied for first (with about 4 PCs).

That said...

To the Kingdom of Britannia
From the Kingodm of Eirehann

We open our ports on the Isle of Man as a home base and resupply for whatever ships you choose to send to combat these pirates.

Mine too, I feel your pain NK.

Don't whine. Both of you could easily get more urban economy, and NK can do a lot more trading...

:p

Speaking of which (he says, not speaking of that subject at all), since I've had those mercenaries in my service for so long, and been able to observe them all this time, does that mean I get to make my own horsemen now?

OOC: can you please explain why my rural economy raised while my urban economy fell? To all the responses for iron, later :p

EDIT: I assume my education fell due to entering the new age?

Only if you can get a breeding population of horses.

@Alex: because I increased your urban economy instead of your rural economy by mistake last update, and I just fixed it. And yes, your education fell because of the new age.

Did you have to put that idea in my mind? Oh god.

:p
That was what Atyria did last turn...

From Prussia
To Brittanica

These raids that have taken place are not from Prussian pirates. We have been focusing most of our military crushing the Danes so we really do not have the means to raid you. We will help hunt down pirates based in Scandinavia and Denmark to see if they are the root of this problem. We hope peaceful trade may continue?

Shadows in Yamato

"My lord, we have achieved a great victory, why are you not celebrating?" asked a soldier with a smile on his face. The fact that his liege was flanked by two stern faced samurai did nothing to prevent him from asking. After all, didn't they just drive the Toyama from their lands in a unheard of victory against the much larger force?

"The war is not over, Captain. No, it is only beginning," said the leader of the Yamato army, and he swiftly turned away, walking towards his tent. Surprised by the harshness of his commander, the captain stood for a moment considering what his commander said. Then simply shrugged, knowing that if more battles were coming, he could only do all he could to win them for his lord. But until then, a celebration stocked with pretty woman awaited him.

"Lord Yamato, the Toyama are beset by enemies on all sides now. With our victory agaisnt them, we have weakened their force considerably. The Kenu to the north will likely move to take Toyama's northern territories with its apparent weakness. This will be of great help to us, in our war," finished a general, before bowing deeply to his liege.

The man sitting on the throne was silent.

"My lord?"

Silence still.

"Leave me," said Yamato finally, and his attendents and gaurds immediately filed from the room. There was silence for a few moments, before Yamato spoke again, seemingly to the empty room.

"I am tired of this war, Kuro. Lord Toyama was foolish to think we would be weak. I think you know what I wish from you."

A dark clothed man stepped from the shadows, a small sword strapped to his back. His face was not visable, but the whites of his eyes soon in the darkness as he spoke, "Your will be done, my liege..."

And with that, he faded once more into the shadows.

"So, this nation will be plunged further into a war for this continent."

The empty room gave no answer.
