JalNES II: Quicker and Easier

Do whatever you want. But Dowanger is a late 19th century and early 20th century Empress.
OOC: No, Empress Dowager is a title that usually (but not solely) refers, in Chinese history, to the specific Empress Dowager Cixi. Who was the aforementioned 19th and 20th century ruler. But any woman who's the emperor's mommy gets to be called 'empress dowager'.

Small armies.

I am writing orders now, but probably won't finish until after dinner.

Orders sent. They would have been sent a half hour ago were it not for the Washington Beltway and its traffic vagaries.

[/uselessness] Will probably be gone when you post the update, and since after the Bronze Age Collapse Mykenai doesn't really exist I won't be sending orders for the next update (though vague Hellenic cultural guidelines have been thrown in); I shall return to shepherd Hellas through its most glorious age ever and extend it beyond a reasonable lifetime. :p

My orders will come tomorrow morning. I'm not feeling well and I just saw the Dark Knight (!!!!) so my brain is fried.

I'll try extra hard to actually give you something to work with this turn though, and not just silly self-preservation tactics ;)

So, I have...2 orders from each cradle, which is good, but it means I can't really work on any particular part yet. At a minimum, I'd like orders from NK in India, Azale in China, and Alex in Mesopotamia. As I get those, I'll start working on cradles.

All orders (minus Dreadnought, who's being NPCed) are now in. Commencing update: order is India, Mesopotamia, China. Don't expect it tonight.

Just a little question: What was the title of the last update in english?
The title of the last update was the Biblical writing on the wall.

...On another note, I'm having the same kind of problems with going into excessive detail as Daft and Iggy. The Indus section is finished, and is three times as long as it was last update, and almost half as long as the entirety of the last update.

So yeah, this might take a while.

Please! I want to know how that dynasty survived um: 800 years? Or is it just that they have lots of loyal brothers and sons that all know the status quo and never dare to cross it?

I have just noticed this and the answer is they in effect destoryed all political enemies in the Purges, which should have been in the update but were not, oh well. Also the people are content with their leadership. Of course there is plenty of backstabbing in the dynasty but no other dynasty has emerged with enough strength to disloge them. So they stay. Plus it has only survived for 400 years and will survive, I hope for another two 200 years, they emerged in 1800 B.C.E and it is now 1400B.C.E.

Do we have an ETA for the update or not. I would prefer the reply in GMT but its fine if its not. I want to know if I should wait up or go to bed.

If it's up tonight (40% or so chance) , it won't be up for another 6 hours. So go to bed.

OOC: @Vertinari118, your dynasty names are not Chinese (aside from Guo). As such, if you even attempt to unify China, I will make it my personal OOC vendetta to remove you from China and utterly destroy your people, culture and way of life. ;)

Why should he have to use historical names, or just your wim should be enough?

Why should he have to use historical names, or just your wim should be enough?

OOC: Not historic, I have nothing against not using historical names. :p Using strange looking names which look like they're from Central America :mischief:

@Ninja Dude, actually Sumbiti does sound Indian.

I needed names and I didn't feel inventive so as Ninja says I adapted them from the FsNes. I knew almost nothing about China before starting this Nes and it took me an hour to work out how to write my emperor's name in my story. They my gods' names as well so assume they are very, very old and unlikely to change.
