Jesus Question to forum Christians: Where's all the carpentry?

It comes from an early Germanic word, "Þeudanōz" - According to wiki.

...

Robin Williams pointed out a funny thing.

Up until one point the bible is full of old jewish names, Moses, Noah, etc. and then you get Mary and Joe. Whats up with that?

Mary and Joe are old Jewish names, too, it's just that we still use 'em. They'd be just as weird if they were just as unfamiliar.

The woodwork is gone because it rots. Only chairs made from Yggdrasil would last long enough, and Jesus pretty well ignored Odin his whole life.

My computer table was bought from the 'giant' Ikea in Jormungrund.

also mary originally was maria (i guess the hebrew pronounciation is not that far from the latin one?) and joe is derived from joseph. (iosephus - ioshua in hebrew?)

When I looked it up that is what I found (well, spelled Maryam), but from in church I'd always been told it was from Mara, the name taken by Naomi in the book of Ruth, which means Bitter.

I think it is from Miriam (who was Moses' sister IIRC), which, in turn was deriven from an Egyptian name "mrn," "my beloved one."

Sorry to say Perfection, the story is he gave up the carpentry so he could get the higher paying job of being the Son of God.

So Jesus was like a carpenter, right?

So shouldn't there be like Jesus carpentry around, like tables or houses or whatever?

Anyways, please answer my question n' keep on rockin'! :)
