I played the turns, pretty boring.

Beginning: Gandhi makes peace with Saladin on my first interturn. Also on my first turn, I unhire the scientists in both Berlin and Hamburg. Neither one of them is a GP farm, they have better uses for their citizens. Toku unloads the settler/archer pair right where i was going to settle, so I withdraw to Essen. My plan for this settler is to do a raze-and-replace on one of Toku's cities so we can fit another one in. A screenshot of where I plan to have cities:

Middle: Trade spices for gold with Qin Shi Huang. Whip a library in Munich for two pop and build another sword there to take Libyan.

Late. Start a few forges. On my last turn, take Libyan with the loss of two swords and an archer. One sword and an archer remain.

Machinery has one turn until completion, when it is done we can build maces to take those two pesky cities Toku has on our continent. Remember to build cats too! We still have a monopoly on Civil service, but the next player can end that by using it to trade for Feudalism from Elizabeth and a few other techs Gandhi has.

Colossus is still a good idea, but we should probably move on it before we have bronze.

Can the next player please do something to pop the borders of Essen? Hindu mish or something? Somebody bumped the library for a courthouse that has been building for 36 turns now, when both could have been built, along with much else, if the library had been whipped/chopped to pop the borders 30 turns ago.

I held off settling the teal dot until we had a few more courthouses finished - the maintenance from that site won't help our economy. By the time the courthouses were completed, I had decided that the other site (Toku's second city) was better.
 
A quiet period of infrastructure development and military build up. We must start expanding. Our high research rate indicates that we can handle a much larger empire.

Qin finished the Colossus at the beginning of my turn. We may want to make a push to Nationalism for the Taj Mahal.

Wanted to give a heads up. Tokugawa has an invasion fleet sitting in Chinese waters. Fortunately we have galleys right there. I am not sure, but it looks like we can block the invasion fleet.

I liked the idea raising Satsuma to get two cities up there, but we now have an extra settler to use. Possibly hook up the iron mine in the center of our empire. The city will grow very slowly, but by farming all the plains we can work the mine and get decent production from the city.
 
I see it, can't have a look yet with my Mac on the road. Will play tomorrow (Friday) night when I get back in town.

Any tech path or other discussion before then will be appreciated. :)
 
Gunpowder, Nationalism, to Music (do we still need pre-reqs? or can we get music by trade? Military Tradition, Cavalry!!
 
Took the last Japanese city on our island, traded for music, discovered gunpowder. Other than that, very quiet builder turns.

We should really decide where to put National and Heroic Epics.

Can someone explain how to zip the files, because I don't know how to do it.
Do you need a program for it?

Should we go for Cavalry now? We only need nationalism + military tradition for it.
