JNES.N2: The World, Again

Gaia

The Gaian people loved the earth. So they plant forests all over. They want others to love earth,so they trade. They know that there are people who destroy earth, and for that they train. The Gaia Lord had not forseen any wars in the future...But he wanted the nation to be vigilant, for you never know when the enemies might come rushing threw your lands.

The people of Gaia lived in houses on top of tree's.All the trunks and houses in the Gaian towns were encased in leather, and this leather would be soaked before a battle,in case of enemy fire arrows. The Gaian people had no liking towards animals, for they were there to be eaten. They just cared about the plants and earth.

For now the neighbors of Gaia seemed peaceful towards them, but on a moment's call the earth could be unhappy, and a nation would have to die for destroying earth...

ORDERS
-Train my army
-Keep trading threwout the lands
-Send 1/4 of my boys to be mercinaries.
-Send 1/2 to expand south
-Keep 1/4 to Keep domestic peace.
-Send 1/2 of my expansion boys back home if I'm attacked.

The armies were preapering. They were much bigger than the Zulu armies, tought the economy was overstreched. Xhosa will conquer Zululand and will unite all of the lands.

And than the command was given. An ivasion begun.

Xhosa armies swarmed into the Zulu's destorying villages and destroying everything on the way bring fear into them. As the 2 armies clashed in the deep jungles the Xhosa counted on their bigger army to do it's work. Both armies were of same training, same weopnse same everything but size was all. the fighting in jungles was hard but not knew to the Xhosa, this were their homelands and now it was time to defeate Zululand.

Since time begun the Zulu and Xhosa were enemies. Both fought on uniting as much of the many tribes around befor the armies clashed into each other. Xhosa became stronger as their army grow much further, Zululand economy was stable unlike Xhosa as they didn't invented all in this war. now time will tell wich army was better

Roddynia Orders
Grow Economy.

these econ growing turns dont give me much to write a story about. i'll have to make a story that doesnt realy have anything to do with my orders, which feels wierd, but whatever.

Roddynia's Government setup

The government of Roddynia grew out of a regional tradition of "Village Elders". In the times before Roddynia was an officialy unified nation, the cities, towns and villages of the region had a common system of governemnt where "Elders" made the ruling decision for a village. While these rulers were not always the oldest people in the village, that was common. In some cases these were elected (publicly chosen) officials, in others it was ruling families, and some times just the oldest person alive.
When Moscow's Army finaly went on the offencive against the raiders that had been plaguing it for centuries, they started a growing allience with the surrounding towns that grew larger and larger as the years wore on. Eventualy the Nation of Roddynia was officialy set up, and the Elders of each town and village became the Great Council of Roddynia. They would represent the interests of their homes in the decisions the Nation as a whole would make. During times of peace and calm the Council was a great way to make Nationwide decisions. The large collection of the most inteligent (in most cases) people of the nation were gathered to discuss all the posibilities and then Enact the new law.
The first real conflict in Roddynia's history, a minor conflict against a nomadic barbarian army, proved that there needed to be one person in charge of the military and the nation in addition to the Council. So Lord Roddy, the Elderman of Moscow, was given additional powers to oversee the military and to be incharge of those projects that the Council had approved. In this additional role, the Elderman of Moscow was accountable to the Council, and the Council COULD if it wanted to override his orders. This arrangement made it so that the Nation could act quickly when needed (under Lord Roddy's orders), but if he was doing something that hte rest of the nation did not approve of, they could convene, vote and override him. This situation was yet to happen, but it was clearly laid out in the laws that gave the Elderman of Moscow his powers.
After a few Generations of this government, the office of Elderman of Moscow (occupied by consecutive Lord Roddys), grew to aquire both military and civilian leutenants who helped him manage all the responsibilities of executing the directives of the council and the organization of the Army.

Nope!

I am leavign this nes as I wish to concentrate on the other four I am in. Also the reason for this nes being the one is that I am already in Newq Times and I wish to support as many mods as possible.

Update 3, 1300b.c.e.

World Events

Inspired by a great king, Kinf Adolph, the Aremburgians have grown to dominate most of Central and Western Europe, pushing their borders south of the Danube and into the Alps.

Majapahit sailors, acting independent of their King, have ventured south and founded a colony upon a much larger land mass. With much land to give to the overcrowded citizens of Majapahit, many colonists flock to this land.

The Somali are near collapse when the great Itege, leader of Gallaray, decided to sacrifice the lowest scum on earth in order to maintain moral, insurance salesmen. He then lead the army himself into many victories, defeating the bulk to the Somali and following them into the desert.

The Scandinavia people, being people of the mountains and coastal plains, flock to the new colonies in Denmark, where they are able to grow, in abundance, farmland products that finally allow them to be self sufficient in food. A little extra is grown, too, which is used for trade with the Icelandic people.

Not expecting such a quick invasion, the Zulu are pushed back dramatically by the invading Xhosa, who do not wish for peace soon. Many Zulu have flocked to their army to defend their homelands, but it looks like a loss.

The Roddynians, before just amused at a small barbarian outburst that prompted the creation of a leader of the council, has not turned into a frantic search for reasons. Barbarians from the east, fighting with large and healthy horses, have invaded the Roddynians and the Goths. They call themselves the Mongols.

The Icelandic people, overpopulating and exhausting their local resources, have embarked upon a war against the Picts of Britain. Two invasion forces have resulted in the stretching of the Pict army, leading to many victories of the Icelandic. However, they are fighting in the mountains of Scotland, places that the Picts know well, so the fighting is going to get tough soon. But the moral is high, the people of Iceland are very happy about the war to conquer the dreaded Picts, and many join the army (+1 army).

The Bulgars have grown to dominate the Balkans, as the Aremburgians have Western Europe. However, a Roman colony on the mainland has inspired much fear.

Romans have established a colony in the Balkans (+1 economy).

Icelandic Story

BAM BAM BAM

“This session of the Althing is now in session”

“Senators of Iceland, I, King Henry the 3rd has launched this invasion of the Pictish Lands to gain more land and resources for our state with ur approvals. I propose that Icelandic Peoples be sent to live in the newly conquered areas to strengthen the tides with Iceland. The new lands will send representatives to the Althing once they have reached 1000 ppls.”

”King Henry, while the Icelandic Peoples r behind u, may I remind u that “Scotland” is mostly made of hilly areas not very suitable for farming even though it’s quite abundant in ores.”

“Senator Gozionce, the Pictish Lands r of little value, the lands beyond them is wat we want. The lands of Southern England and this “France” we’ve heard about. There it is said, are abundant and rich grasslands for us, with ur permission, I will send settlers to claim land in the name of the Republic and Monarch of Iceland.”

“Hear, hear, hear! Long Live the King!”

And thus, a huge fleet filled with settlers sailed out…

“Your Majesty, as strong as Iceland is, our ppl r not very educated. I understand that spending more money on anything would damage the treasury, but education must be increased. It would lead to better commanders and more knowledgeable citizens which would benefit the state, and ev-“

“Scholar, even before u presented ur arguments against me, I was already going to increase the education. I just wanted to know on wat u based ur theories on, and if everyone of our ppl is as well-learned as u, Iceland will flourish!”

Scandinavia's food problem had been solved, and the Danish lands were providing enough food to not only feed their own people, but even to sell to faraway Iceland. The main problem now was land; the Norwegian coast was densely overcrowded. Denmark was only a temporary solution to this problem, as it was simply too tiny to have any sizable plots of land. What they needed was something larger, something that would alleviate the problem.

A solution was soon found. The Picts were at war with Iceland. Everyone knew this. What few knew were the implications this had on the rest of the island, which was thought to be pretty much a wilderness with only minor tribes. With all of their resources devoted to fighting the Icelanders, there would be no time for warding off Scandinavian attempts to claim the southern lands as its own. Therefore, the decision was made to begin the colonization of Britain.

Of course, if there was going to be an overseas colony, there would also need to be a navy to defend it. Scandinavia had an excellent merchant marine fleet, but its military flotilla was a little less up to speed. It was decent for shore patrols, but not much else. What was needed was a fleet that could guard the waterways and make Scandinavian sea traffic safer. Thus it was decided that a stronger navy was in order.

Meanwhile, a watchful eye was kept on the Vikings. Their military power was growing, but fortunately was practically dependent on the mountains of Norway for iron for its weapons--and Scandinavia controlled most of them. However, it became all too apparent that some time in the near future, the control of this iron would lead to friction, so more troops were allocated to guard the passes, just in case.

ORDERS
-Begin colonizing the strip of British coast stretching from the Thames River to the Pictish borders. This is to be the main effort. Also establish supplementary colonies along France's Channel coast if possible, but concentrate on Britain first.
-Increase navy.
