I have imagination to spare, but I don't want to send orders until I know the NES will last. Having a map and stats is pretty essential to that. Jason gets it.

At the risk of agreeing with erez, I could see the utility of maps for nations at war, to better coordinate attacks and whatnot, but nobody needs a map to say "build x, expand my borders" which is most all you can do at this juncture in the game. Not that maps aren't cool or important, just that the patient needs cpr, not Botox and it would give the game more momentum to proceed.
