JNESIV: Some Things Should Never Die

deleted

OOC: Jason, I think you missed my Lebanon War. I dont know if that was done on purpose or not, only bringing it to your attention. :D

It is not turn 10 yet. I have only done one battle for turn 9, only because sheep wanted me too so he could do turn 10 orders since he wont here to do them.

I will do the rest of the battles tonight.

Jason

The attack on Bolivia is much like last turn's attack on Paraguay.
Again, the Stealth fighter is to establish air superiority, and the Artilary is to target anti air weaponry to give the Close Air Support units easy bombing missions.
The gound forces move in to clean up everything that the bombing hasnt taken out.

Turn: 9
Treasury: 18
Purchases: Infantry, 2 Armored Divisions, 1 Air Support
Cost: 3,10,5
Bank: 0

Invade Mozambique:

Units (Tactics):

5 Armored Divisions, moving in support of each other follow the paths cleared by my 3 Air Support Groups after my Artillery fires to disturb the defenders. If all goes well the Artillery is to proceed cautiously, retreating at the slightest resistance, to fire from behind the invaders.

***IRAQ INVADES LEBANON***
Begining bombing raids were a disaster for the Iraqis. Having no escorts for the bomber squadron, they were easily destroyed by the Lebanon Jet Squadron. However, the ground assualt was a complete success. Meeting the two mech infantries of Lebanon around Beirut, the armors were easily able to destroy them with the gunships as backup. The rest of the country quickly fell, the fighter squadron was forced to land to refuel and was caught on the ground.

Losses: One bomber squadron, one armor at 1/2 strength
Requried Garrison: 1 for 4 turns

***ITALY INVADES THE VATICAN***
A very simple war, the one infantry division of the Vatican inflected mediocre damage upon the Italians, but were destroyed with ease.

Losses: 1 Neo Legion at 1/2 strength.
Required Garrison: None

***POLAND INVADES HUNGARY***
The overwhelming force sent from Poland against Hungary was the ultimate winner. Just the sheer numbers and power of the force startled the defending Hungarians. However, Hungary was able to get a fighter squadron in the air, load their own artillery, and put three mech infantries up against the invaders. Heavy fighting pursued around Miskolk, the frontier town to the Slovakian border, where the railroad to Budapest was fought over. The Hungarian fighter squadron was able to missile down 2 hinds and a close air support squadron before being brought down by a trap of anti-air fire. It was then up to the remaining ground force, 3 hinds and 3 armored divisions, to destroy the 3 mech infantries that surrounded Budapest. This was done, but with higher casualties then expected.

Losses: 2 Hinds, 1 close air support, 1 armor, 1 mech infantry at 1/2 strength
Required Garrison: 3 for 3 turns

***BRAZIL INVADES BOLIVIA***
Against the pursuing Brazilians, the Bolivians were able to scrape up an artillery brigade and three mech. infantries. The battle was a piece of cake for the Brazilians, trapping the mech infantries in a mountain enclave near La Paz, and the artillery was obliterated by the stealth fighters. However, the Brazilian armor did have a little trouble near Sucre, the second capital, and sustain damage there.

Losses: 1 armor, 1 mech infantry at half strength
Required Garrison: 3 for 2 turns

***SOUTH AFRICA INVADES MOZAMBIQUE***
Again, another easy battle for South Africa. A single battle with all the armor divisions on the desert against the three mech infantries of Mozambique was quelled, especially with help from the close air support, which also destroyed the artillery.

Losses: 1 armor
Required Garrison: 1 for 3 turns

um, ye, ok, except there wasnt 2 armors in that attack.

i knew i shouldnt be using the whole "1st, 2nd" thing.
anyway, jason, you're gonna have to pick something else to kill/damage, cause there was only 1 armor in that attack.

*wonders why he brings these things up. not like anyone would have noticed
