Joan d'Tupace

d'Tupace started her war with Babylon in the same fashion as against Japan. By nullifying resources. This time the key resources were saltpeter and horses that allowed the babs to train cavalry. So d'Tupace sent one of her own cavalry, in the first turn of the war, to shut off Hammurabi's horses.

1babhorses1je.jpg

Now d'Tupace would need only worry about the cavalry that had already been trained.

As d'Tupace looked to her next move the Iroquois joined the fighting.

d'Tupace also finshed her project on Wall Street which would allow her to earn a return on her investments.

d'Tupace sent her cavalry north. The battle plan was simple, d'Tupace's impressive cavalry army

4cavalrystack3us.jpg

Would follow the path traced by d'Tupace's military advisors. In a similiar fashion to Tupacius' first great war with the Iroquois for the lands of America, d'Tupace would seek to severe the colonies from the central Babylon.

And it worked a treat.

At Nagasaki France's generals decided upon a joint attack on the last of Babylon's colonies and they fell with little resistance.

11nippur1sh.jpg

The Iroquois - Babylon front had not shifted so d'Tupace suspected they had nullified each other, certainly the Iroquois had proven their worth, France had not suffered any counter attacks and so she assumed (reasonably) that France was tied up with the Iroquois.

However the proud Zulu were finally overcome.

d'Tupace was so proud of her new position of strength she happily traded away some of her new fangled lead in technology. Of course for deals like this why wouldnt you?

d'Tupace also convinced Bismarck to part with all that remained of his treasury in exchange for wines and furs, of course he didn't have enough so d'Tupace graciously allowed him to pay for some of it on credit.

Please let me know what you think of the battle plan pictures. They are my first attempt at that sort of thing and I'd really like to learn how to make them goodly

d'Tupace began her new plans with the news that the Iroquois and Russia had signed a Mutual Protection Pact, thus forcing Russia into the war with Babylon. Only Germany remained seperate from the war.

Then the news filtered through that the Iroquois had made peace and withdrawn from the fighting. d'Tupace laughed as a Babylonian frigate sailed into French waters and bombarded Lagash thus forcing the Iroquois back into the war.

d'Tupace then passed on her secrets of Industrialization to the Iroquois, after all if she didn't Germany probably would.

She threw some of the excellent French Wines into the bargain and was able to extract from Hiawatha: a fully up to date WM, Incense, Gems and 39gpt.

Iroquois: Indutrialization + Wines for WM + Incense + Gems + 39gpt.

d'Tupace then struck Babylon a double blow, razing two of her front line cities and leaving the road to Babylon wide open...

French cavalry then rode into Ur and seized the city, they would have torched the city were it not for the presence of the legendary inventor Leonardo.

And finally the French Cavalry charged to Babylon, the Cultural Centre of the World. It was Paris on speed, it was where things happened first. Of course there would be few places in the world more French once d'Tupace was through with it.

d'Tupace's generals gave their orders and the Cavalry divided as ordered.

d'Tupace had won, Ashur remained in Babylonian hands but d'Tupace wanted Babylon to remain alive in order to slow the tech rate. So she made peace taking from Hamurabit everything that he still owned.

23babpeace3vr.jpg

Of course it didn't do Hami any good

24deadbabs1fh.jpg

So much for slowing the tech rate!

d'Tupace began a new period of consolidation. Electricity was common throughout France yet existed nowhere else in the world. d'Tupace decided to bestow this great convenience to lesser peoples of the world. Starting with Germany.

Of course Germany never were very gracious. Almost immediately after these trades were completed foolish baldy, the silly bugger signed his own death warrant.

Oh dear Bismarck, that was not the cleverest thing to do. Why? Because you will have to answer to d'Tupace!

This won't make things any easier for you.

Whereas this will help d'Tupace

and her allies

Just to show everyone what Bismarck has gotten into here are two pictures, one showing the current scores and demographics, the other showing the glorious empire of d'Tupace!

I didnt bring them in, Germany sneak attacked me which activated my MPP with Iroquois who have a MPP with Russia. I assume that the german cavalry, who came from Iroquois territory, had a ROP with Iroquois and when the Iroquois got brought in the German Cavalry attacked the Iroquois, and already being in their territory they activated Russia's MPP with the Iroquois. This is the first unplanned war since the Aztecs sneak attacked me with a Jag so long ago. And I could see that coming as it didnt have enough mp to attack in the turn it reached my territory.

I hate it when that happens

:sniper:

:wow:

Why, that's an awesome attack force. :wow: That was his stack, dude.

:hammer: them Germans!

Nice little veteran wariror you have there guarding size 15 Marseiles

Don't you think he would have retired by now?

@fascistrepublic - Germany won't win it for me as I'm going for conquest. My plan is to capture key cities, raze the rest then turn on the Iroquois and we'll see what happens then.

and why did you burn Shakespears?

Braging rights of cource! Eh, it was your decision.

d'Tupace now set out to begin her last great campaign. She had with her an infallible plan, the greatest brain in France and of course, a bucketload of cavalry.

First things first she had to finish off the last of her vital infrastructure. First up was Theory of Evolution

The elite cavalry and veterans from the Babylonian war would lead the attack on the Western borders of Germany from the Iroquois lands.

The French commanders detailed this attack order for the troops to follow.

4battleplans3ju.jpg

The first battle was at Ulundi and was a resounding success for the French cavalry. d'Tupace's intructions were that these cities were to be held, then rush a rifleman followed by a temple, another rifle then walls. These lands needed to be protected.

5ulundi6id.jpg

The same instructions were given at Isandhlwana

6isanhlwana4vy.jpg

and Smolensk.

7smolensk6qw.jpg

Of course by the time her lads had reach Smolensk the Iroquois had messed up the battle plans by capturing one of the cities. Naughty, naughty Iroquois!

Running at minsci d'Tupace had the cash to rush factories and hospitals in all major cities.

Then the big news came through

8hoovers9no.jpg

d'Tupace's Mfg. Goods nearly doubled. This increase in production meant that the last of the crucial infrastructure was in place and d'Tupace did something her cousin plain forgot to do.

9mobilization6wh.jpg

The effect was remarkable, d'Tupace now had a dozen cities pumping out a cavalry every turn, with that she felt supremely confident in this war now.
Not that she was lacking in it earlier.

The first battle under Mobilization resulted in this

10leader7ml.jpg

It took close to 5500 years to get just 2 leaders. d'Tupace was not impressed. de'Gaulle formed a cavalry army.
The victory was crucial in seizing Kiev.

11kiev3zi.jpg

With the bulk of d'Tupace's forces concentrating on the German front she decided to send an elite strike force of 11 cavalry and 1 infantry, on 3 galleons, into the very heart of Germany.
There they attacked and seized, and subsequently held, Berlin.
