Stewart tells them that they are helping to divide America with black and white partisan rhetoric. He completely kills them both in debate

It's not that [Crossfire] is bad, it's that it is dividing America
What you do is not honest, what you do is partisan hackery.
To do a debate would be great, but [calling Crossfire a debate show] would be like calling pro wrestling an athletic competition.
All good points I would say.

I saw some of it, it was pretty interesting

Jon Stewart is awesome. Do you have a link to the video?

The crossfire guys were expecting Jon Stewart to come on their show and just be funny. They were surprised when they got b****slapped with reality.

This is CNN. My show is followed by Puppets making crank phone calls.

hahahaha! Awsome stuff

^^
Exactly.

:rotfl: Jon Stewart is great. I especially love the "My show is followed by Puppets making crank phone calls" comment

I liked when he called Tucker Carlson a dick. It all seemed good natured, but it's hard to tell, because he really is a dick (with a bowtie).:)

I was hoping there would be more of a response to the "it's not a debate, it's theater" accusations.

Jon Stewart is the man. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen. He just showed them how he was about 10 times smarter than either of them. He is a witty guy. He had line after line.

My favorite quote "Are you as much of a dick in real life..." or something to that nature. Those two guys were not expecting to get b-smacked on their own show. He destroyed them. They were sweating pretty hard.

Other good lines:
"How old are you? 35?"
"Yeah"
"And you're wearing a bowtie"

I think overall Jon Stewart held his composure pretty well. Those guys are annoying.

Peace out.

That was excellent. Jon Stewart basically handed those Crossfire guys their asses on a silver platter. The best part was that when Tucker Carlson realized this was happening, he started whining about Jon giving him lectures and how he must be such a bad person to go out to dinner with. Hilarious.

I honestly think Jon Stewart would make a phenomonal President.

He does his homework on domestic and world issues.
He obviously cares about America and its future.
He is charismatic and intelligent.
He knows when to be diplomatic and when to be heavy handed.

Unfortunately, like most of the people who would be good politicians, he appears to have no interest in the job. Too bad.
